I overlooked this in the store when buying, the table only has a single T track on the right side of the blade. I suppose this can work, but it’s very unfortunate to not have a miter track on the left as well. It puzzles me why the smaller table saw (the non-extended table) has two tracks but this one only has one… The track itself is also “not standard”. It has nibs towards the top of the track to keep your miter gauge from coming out. This is nice with the factory gauge, but if you plan to build a sled or any other components (which I do), adds some unnecessary steps of grinding those off (since I don’t see a Ryobi miter sled add on built for these specific T-tracks). But I guess this is an entry level table saw.. The assembly wasn’t bad. I thought the leg holes didn’t line up, but I had the piece on backwards. Once I moved it to the inside of the legs it went on perfectly (read the instructions carefully). The legs are labeled with letters, once you find them it’s pretty quick & easy. The fold up and transport is a nice feature and will save room in the shop or jobsite. The extended table seems nice. I haven’t tested it’s durability/strength at maximum extension though. I hooked up my shop vac but still get a lot of saw dust thrown back towards my face while cutting. The cuts are straight though (so far, only used it for a few days though). The housing for the motor under the table is a little different than I expected. The motor is mounted sturdy, but on the other side, rather than a metal or solid plastic housing for the motor/blade, there is some type of moveable burlap to keep the area enclosed. Possibly for cleaning (since the hose won’t work as designed). It just felt a little cheap, but we’ll see how it stands the test of time. I’m not unhappy with it, but I’m not ecstatic either… I bought a 10″ Craftsman at first, but the motor was shot out of the box, this was my second option. I might be returning and going up another $150 for the next grade up…

Instructions to build aren’t great, assembly is a bit tricky, but the saw is powerful, easy to use, and very safe.

Nice saw for the money. Can’t tighten down the saw bevel so I had to make my own modifications

Very nice saw for the price. Got it to help finish off a room project and cut flooring. It assembled easily, though some of the instructions could provide a little better images/angles. It blasted through the work with little effort. Love the rolling portability and mitre option. The only complaint is the blade guard is difficult to seat just using the instructions provided. That’s the only thing that keeps it from being a 5 star saw in my book.

Good for what it is, a homeowner tool for occasional use. Does not see rugged enough for heavy duty use.

I have a Ryobi miter saw and new I would eventually need to get a table saw. Being a DIYer, I was leaning toward the middle model table saw, but needed a bigger maximum rip. Being value conscious, I first checked sites like craigslist, but they only listed old, outdated saws close to the price of this new, modern Ryobi saw. Also, certain equipment I may by used (hammer drill, etc.), but something like a table saw I needed to be up to date and in excellent working order. I finally sprung for this Ryobi table saw, and have been quite impressed! Assembly seemed a bit complicated at first glance, but really was quite straightforward – just follow the steps one by one. The blade wrench and wood guide tool comes with it with is great. The rip fence was stable for me, but I can see for ultra precise cuts, someone may want to make sure its exactly square first.I would make a couple of suggestions. The miter angle adjustment seems a bit awkward: you adjust the angle and then tighten the position with a lever in behind the blade level wheel-a more convenient mechanism would be nice. The other thing is that the exhaust port would not fit either of the vacs I had, so I had duct tape the vac hose to the exhaust port – an adapter would be nice. Neither of these caused much inconvenience. I would highly recommend this saw for a DIYer like myself. And please, keep safety in mind: Wear googles and use a lock on the power switch. Always have a healthy fear around tools like this and you will do fine.
