I bought a couple of these over the last 14 years. My lates, the second was purchased about two years ago sicne my older one was worn to its core. I have been meaning to write a review on this wonderful trimmer but have been putting it off until now. I just came in from outdorrs where I trimmed an plot about 300 sq ft. within about an hour. This baby cut through all kinds of greens from tall grass to 1/2 inch think growth of maple, oak, and all kinds of trees that just grow due to good soil, good sun and good moisture. This think eats them up like butter. I was so impressed, I decided to write a review as soon as I am back in the house. One note, I used the blade not the string and it works much btter and is quicker. I 100% recommend this trimmer with the string head and a blade head, if you want to clean up growth other than grass. I will add some photos tomorrow.

This little machine is great! I enjoy the easy switch-out on additional equipment heads. I have the hedge trimmer, pole saw and edger attachments. I’m thinking about adding a couple more and donating the full size items they will replace. The motor uns great and works hard. Another winner from Ryobi!

I like this trimmer, but it has an issue where the 0.095 line just continues to feed while running at a high RPM. I have to throttle back to keep from wasting all of my line and still have to restring my trimer 3-4 times just to do a .6 acre lot. Good machine but bad trimmer head.
