Ive had this String trimmer For about 5 months now and its been working perfect till 2 weeks ago I opened the air filter and saw gasoline everywhere then when I go to pump the primer I see gasoline is leaking through the carburetor I replaced it but same thing happened after a few weeks and im not sure what is causing this but its getting annoying after awhile I fuel it up, use it I put it to rest next thing I know when I come to use it again I run right out of gas I look at the floor and the gasoline is spilled everywhere I make sure the gasoline cap is tighten and, Yes it is but It just dosent stop leaking gas and I don’t know how to stop this. I just want a response on how to fix this Im not putting the location nor nickname. it also accelerates by its self without me touching the throttle sometimes.

I live in a tropical jungle with foot tall weeds that pop up in between huge rocks. I use stihls and shindawas for work but even they can get bogged down in this stuff. I had the electric Ryobi but I didn’t have a big enough battery so I’d get 15 minutes out of it before I’d have to switch out. Took out the 2 cycle yesterday and man she go! I was literally having fun. Probably ran it for over an hour on one tank. I was trying to bog it down to test it but the light gauge on the strings with the 25cc motor is pretty hard to get to quit.This is one of my new favorite power tools.

I bought my trimmer over the summer so have now used it several times. It was a replacement for a several years old competitor brand. It runs quieter which I like. Seems better on gas consumption too. Only knock I have is seems the trimmer string wears out really fast. Guessing it’s not industrial grade that comes with it new so will upgrade to something beefier when I run out of what came in the box.
