I bought this string trimmer and attachment over 1 1/2 years ago. Everything operates well. Ryobi developed a new blower so I replaced the curved shaft unit I originally bought. The curved shaft blower was a little awkward to operate. The straight on blower does not have a good locking mechanism to counteract the torsional rotation the head of the unit puts on it. No matter how well it is locked the pin disengages and the blower unit spins like a top on the power head shaft.
