Used to try it out on my ditchbank full of small mulberry branches. Made quick work of them. Comes with string trimmer, too- a surprise.

For blackberries a steel blade is best. Line trimmers get tangled up. This model does the job.

Easy to assemble. Cranks easily and stays cranked. Good product. Just bought the pole saw attachment. It works great. The brush cutter does a great job on briers and thick grasses and very small bushes. Years ago I had a brush cutter that was more like a saw blade which would cut 2 or even 3 inch trees. I would recommend this type blade for clearing this type undergrowth.
