I bought this to take care if a brush problem i had. It was delivered quick and packaged well. Started right up out of the box no problem. It managed to clear a lot of obsticles in my yard all the way up to 1 inch think sapplings. Also it cane with a weed eater head attachement that i swapped out and it handled my tall grass effortlessly. Definitet a good buy if you have a larger property with thicker grass and areas with brush.

Great unit with great power. Changing over from blade to string takes about 5 minutes once you can find your tools. Shipping was fast as well.

Have ran 6 tanks of fuel this thing. So far so good!! Eats up everything in front of it. Easy to start and makes good power. The only issue I have had is the loop handle tends to loosen up and slowly turn. Not a huge problem though, I just retighten the thumbscrew as I go. Overall a great piece of equipment so far!

It does cut down my thistles but I wish it had a little power to it. But I would recommend it if you need a blade on your trimmer

Best and lowest priced BRUSH cutter on the market….I shopped a lot! It was not available in the store, had to order it.I gave it 4 stars, because they sell the trimmer in the store and you can buy the separate brush cutter attachment for an additional $79, but all I wanted/needed was something to cut tough weeds and saplings (brush). This blade does it well. When it arrived I noted that if you get the BRUSH cutter, that a string trimmer head is included, but I have not used that. the BRUSH cutter cuts the tough stuff and even small trees, brambles, and that kind of stuff…just what I needed.

The Ryobi brush cutter was fantastic. I was concerned that it might not cut down small saplings as the instructions say not to use for small wood trees. It cut right through 1/2 inch oak saplings as well as rasberry bushes and pulpy plants. The Tri Arc blade did not appear sharp on delivery but had a plastic cover over the edges. It said not to sharpen at one place in the instructions so I did not attempt to sharpen. When I started using the blade cut like going thru butter. Note: be sure to periodically check for tight fittings and that the attachment metal pop up bubble stays in the hole of the upper shaft. Mine slipped out after extensive cutting. I stopped the cutter and realligned and tightened all connections then continued without trouble. The instructions do alert about repeatedly checking the connection points and tighteners and it is very important for safety. Also, the handle began slipping after cutting for a while. The connection fittings are for hand tightening so check frequently. A great buy for the price. It came with a string weed wacker but I have not attached or used yet but it looks very sturdy.

After clearing about 1/8 acre of brush using the brush cutter attachment, I bought the roto-tiller attachment and tilled the area including my small garden to an excellent outcome. Being an older guy I surely wouldn’t buy anything heavier. Easy to assemble (5 minutes) and started with ease! In general, an excellent tool for general home use – and the price is right! I’m pleased.

works good,but blades not sharp.

So far so good. The instructions for removing the blade attachment to the string is a little complicated, but overall it’s been working fine.

The only thing that I had difficulty with was the directions. And that was because they had to muchinformation, and to many diagrams, versus keeping it simple. I had to rely more on life experiences, with fixing and repairing various things. The directions should be designed for the every day person, male or female. And make the diagrams and wording larger.

My boyfriend took it over!!! LOL. He said it worked good.
