I haven’t used the line trimmer, but the blade works really well with the johnson grass I have.

Brush cutter works great and is easy to start.

This brush cutter was easy to assemble and started on the first try. It easily chopped through weeds, bushes and thin tree branches. The only minor concern is that it is not light in weight and my arms got a little tired after extended use.

Easy to assemble and started as advertised. It cut down tall grasses in lower yard with ease. I have only used it the one time so far but I see no issues. It came with the weed wacker attachment, nice bonus. Highly recommend.

I have only used the metal brush blade so far but was impressed with it. Cut woody brush up to an inch in diameter easily but did grass as well. I expected the metal cutter to have more of a sharp edge but evidently doesn’t need it.Engine starts easily if follow directions. Entire tool is lightweight, yet powerful, and easy to use. So far, very pleased.

This thing works great! Cuts through brush like butter up to an inch in diameter. Starts easy and light weight. Only gripe is the handle isn’t very comfortable. Not enough to give it a lesser rating.

Works well despite the small motor. Adequately cuts brush up to a half inch. Heavier than similar products but this may help it last longer. Starts right up. Very pleased.

The Ryobi brush cutter did everything it said it could. I cut brush on 1.65 acres and had no problems or issues. I then bought the extend leaf blower and wow made cleaning the lot easy and simple.

I like the way I can go from brush cutter to trimmer in just a couple of minutes with the head (included)I like how fast I can clean my patio, it is a little heavy, after 45 minutes of use I feel I need a break, but gets the job done.meets my expectations 100%.

Pros: Starts very easily, lots of power. Good for taking out low brush as long as it’s not too thick. I have thick blackberries that I cut the tops off first so I can work my way into them (not have the tops attack me while working). Cons: The blade came loose once and hit the guard, denting it. But no problems after that. Neutral: It’s a bit heavy, but goes with the territory for this time of item. If it was lighter it wouldn’t have as much power.

Bought on-line through Home Depot website in October 2020. Home Depot does not stock this product variation in the stores. We had a lot of brush to clear! This brush cutter works. It also comes with extra string head, but really you can do the grass cutting with the brush cutter, not a problem. Would be time consuming to take off brush head and put on string head. Thinking about just buying a string attachment. It is compatible with other non-Ryobi attachments, might save a few dollars here. Found no downside to the non-branded Ryobi Attachments. My major complaint! Sometimes and often very hard to crank, you can work up a sweat trying to crank it! This is even after it is warmed up. Maybe should have purchased the Battery option and not gas, but hindsight is 20-20. I mix my own gas as it’s a 4th of the cost of the pre-mixed stuff you find in the store. It’s easy, highly recommended. Be sure and purchase the oil with stabilizer, makes fuel usable longer. The attachments are easy to put on and take off. However it will turn and not keep in the push button hole, minor irritant, but will not stay aligned. May need a re-engineering look. The price is right. It does the job. But sure you got the energy and muscle to crank it!

I usually use an electric trimmer, and the last time I tried to use a gas trimmer I found it not very user friendly. I’ve used this item several times now, and once you get use to having to pull start the engine to get it started you get use to it. I would strongly recommend for use more senior citizens that a two strap over the shoulder harness is essential. I’ve tried using my electric trimmer for more than 30 minutes and at 68 years young, I find it’s back breaking. With the back brace harness I can use this Ryobi for a few hours more, because the weight is balance on both shoulders instead of straining one.

Easy to use right out of the box. Comes with the oil mix you need for a gallon of gas which was great since I forgot to get any.
