Works very well, wish there was an easier way to store it because it is very bulky.

Bought this blower for use around the house and it has surpassed all expectationsI had held off to purchase a blower until I had the opportunity to buy the Ryobi and I am so glad that I waited.

I switched from a battery powered blower that would only last 15 minutes. This one works so much better and easily blows the leaves!

Love this backpack blower. I got it for a Christmas present, and a part broke during assembly, customer service got me a replacement super fast! Tried it out in the dead of winter, because you have to! Love it and makes quick work to clean the garage, can’t wait to use it for yard work!

First experience with a gas backpack blower. Very powerful, seems like Best In Class in power at such an affordable price. Unit is not too heavy, it was comfortable for the 45 mins I was using it. Assembly was simple and easy. Came with a small bottle 2 stroke oil to mix to get you started. Great unit at a great price point. Very happy. I have a handful of live oaks that are starting to drop leaves this time of year (in south florida). The last blower wasn’t cutting it. This handles the leaves, moss, and grass clippings with ease.

It was a Christmas present and was delivered to the house

Exceeded expectations. I have always hated raking/blowing leaves with a handheld blower. This reduced my time dramatically and of course, no sore arms or shoulders.

Over all works good. Wish the hose moved better, it’s a little ridged. Easy to use

It started right out of the box

My wife bought this as a gift and wow is it powerful. Seems like a very well built and tight package too. Plenty of leaves left so I’m sure to use lots more this season!

Much more powerful than I expected and easy for a middle aged woman with no leaf blowing experience to use (though I did watch YouTube first)

Just got this Christmas after wanting a backpack blower and i am really impressed by how easy it starts and the power it has to clear the wettest of leaves.
Deven McLaughlin (verified owner) –
It’s powerful enough to quickly blow leaves off my driveway.

Recommended if you have a large yard with lots of trees. Saves me hours. Only complaint is it’s hard to restart if you turn it off for a minute or two and try to restart it.

You could not wipe the smile off my face. I have been content these last 27 years with my PB-200 handheld 2 cycle blower. Only because I did not know any better. It blew the large Oak Tree leaves at my homes in CT and ME. I thought 3 hours twice a week for a clean yard was not bad. I have since moved to South Carolina and I know have 2-1/2 acres with 31 trees including 2 Pin Oaks, 1 Water Oak and 3 Persimmon trees. Pin Oak leaves and small narrow little buggers that get trapped deep in the grass. Now It is easily 3 or 4 hours every day. But it needs to be done if you want a clean yard and healthy grass next spring. My wife said, “enough is enough all you do is blow leaves everyday”. She did her research and knows I own [and like] Ryobi tools. She picked the RY38BP Backpack Blower as a gift for me this Christmas. I gave a big smile and was grateful she thought a more powerful blower would make my job easier. I was skeptical that it would be heavy to blow leaves for 3 or 4 hours. It is surprisingly light, and the shoulder harness is well padded. I’m 6”1” and 210 pounds so I wish the lower wings were a little bit longer, but they are still comfortable. The real joy is the power and the variable speed I can control with the trigger. Sometimes you don’t want or need full power. A pile of large fluffy leaves blows almost as fast as I can walk, and those Pin Oak leaves jump right out of the grass. I use to have to wait 2 or 3 days after the rain so the leaves would be dry enough to blow. Now the wet leaves stuck to the ground under a pile are no problem. The best I can tell you is buy it you won’t be dissapointed

Has not disappointed us. But then it started snowing the day after we bought it. Minnesota winters are long so I guess we will wait and see. Do like Ryobi products.
