I bought this mower for its super light weight. This is one of the potential advantages of an electric mower. There are almost no gas mowers under 50lbs, this one is nearly 30. I could push two of these pretty easily.You need 2 4ah batteries for 1/2acre. I opted for 2 6ah batteries.The blade rpm speed is much lower than a gas mower. Lower rpm, but more torque. It doesnt fling sticks and rocks like a gas mower does. This is safer and easier on the housing. It probably also makes the use of a plastic deck possible.I see electric mowers on the market trying to be like gas mowers. Ryobi’s top of the line is heavy and complex. This mower is light and simple. Its a much better concept.

Well made. Simple to use. Light weight. We wanted a small, light mower specifically to mow a couple of small grass areas in a largely natural lot. We do not have a large lawn area. Something like this fits the bill for that need.

I love this mower, it is awesome except for the battery life. It lasts a short time and needs to be recharged. I usually take care of the weedeating while it charges and then finish up mowing. The charge time is pretty fast, so that helps. This is a good mower for a woman because it’s super easy to start and push. It would get 5 stars if the battery lasted longer and if the extra battery wasn’t so expensive.

I bought this to mow a medium sized lawn at a rental property we own. The lawn is fescue and the terrain is flat. This mower is very lightweight, in a good way. The noise level is so low that I can listen to my ear buds while growing. I mowed the lawn early one morning and the tenants said they never knew I was there. The cut is good with an easily adjustable deck height. It takes me about 30 minutes to mow and battery life has never been an issue. This mower is.not made for really thick thatched grasses, like Augustine. It would bog down and stop. I love not having to haul gas to our property anymore. I would recommend this mower to anyone and would purchase it again
