How I wish this technology was around 15 years ago. Replaced my 15-year-old gasoline-fueled lawn mower with this model after deciding spending another $100 to repair it just wasn’t where I wanted to invest $100. Everything about this mower is better: it is quieter, lighter, easy to start, reliably starts, no pollution, and incredibly easy to adjust the wheels (especially raising the blade). Just charge the battery (3-4hrs for a full charge), install it and the start key, hold the handles, press the button…and away you go.It takes the same amount of effort to push it as my old mower (which was not self-propelled).My lawn is approximately 5000 sq ft. One charge cut about 95% of it. I may walk a little faster next time. This model does not have a bagger. Which I didn’t use that much on my old mower but when I didn’t want to rake, it came in handy.

Heck, I rate this a 20, so light weight, but little guy just chopped down every thing, have to keep it set up high, lots of rocks, but just love it. Love mowing again!!!! NOT unhappy with this one…am a Rigid fan, but Ryobi is coming on fast in quality, hummmm, may be going to Ryobi

We have a 1.75 acre yard. We have a riding mower but because we have many bushes/trees around the perimeter it’s not easy to get between them with the it. We bought this push mower to cut those smaller areas and it works like a charm. That said, I did knock off one star (actually would have taken half a star if the system allowed it) for not using a regular Ryobi battery. I’ve seen other models that use two regular Ryobi batteries in the place of this included larger one. The only problem with this larger battery is that it has it’s own proprietary charger unlike the other Ryobi tools.So, good push mower.. light and last a long time on one charge but you can’t use existing Ryobi batteries or they’re chargers so prep another spot for this charger next to the others.

So far the mower has exceeded expectations. Now we only use it for trim mowing and we only used it 5 times before putting it away for the winter, all on a single charge, What impressed me the most was the delivery, I ordered it Sunday evening at 6 pm and it showed up at noon on the next day. And I’m not near a distribution center. Kudo’s for the delivery people. I did not have any issues as I have seen in other postings, but again it was a limited use with no abuse.It is light enough to maneuver so I didn’t need the self propelled version, and my wife has no trouble mowing, but again we only use it for trim mowing.
