I have an older model of this lawnmower and decided to upgrade. They have improved all the features. Easy to change handle length and easy to move the handle to put away. The older model was much harder to put away. The bag is easy to put on and take off. Really nice, quiet lawnmower. Very pleased with this purchase!

My husband and I bought this mower over a year ago just before moving into our new home. I have back issues and was VERY excited about the push button start. It runs quietly and is an absolute dream. I love that it has an onboard holder for a second vattery- I highly recommend having an extra. Our lot is just under 1/3 acre. We prefer to use an electric to mow it and will need that extra battery when the grass is a little thicker in the summer. One feature that really sold us on this Ryobi is that the batteries can be interchanged within other Ryobi. I love not overcomplicating things, so a battery that can be used in more than one gadget really appealed to us. Because of this, we’ve added more products from the Ryobi family and have been pleased. This purchase is one worth making. We have been so pleased with it!

Bought several months ago, but just getting around to doing review. This mower is great. Lightweight, easy to push. Compact enough to fit in small space to store.

I love how quiet it is, the lights,, and it’s also very reliable.

Very light weight is a big plus. No pulling the rope to start is what I like the best. But the length makes it harder to move in tight spaces. It has good power, but not as much as a gas powered machine. Mulching is low grass is good but not great in taller grass.

East set up, easy clean and storage is a dream. Easy to handle.

Love this mower and it’s huge battery! I was able to mow my front and back lawns with one charge, but there is space to put a spare in case you run out of juice. It cuts very nicely, even through long, wet grass.

After using this product for approximately 3 months I found that it was light weight, easy to use and maneuver with long battery life but more importantly the noise level was close to negligible. It was storable with the collapsable handles. Excellent product.

I was looking for an electric mower due environmental concerns and for ease of use. This mower was comparatively priced to low end gas mowers, but with all the features of a high end mower. It is easy to adjust the height, and easy to manuever. Cuts quickly and cleanly, and the battery lasts as long as I need it to.The mower is heavy enough to give it the weight you would want from something with a giant spinning blade on the bottom, but still light enough to move around with relative easy. The mower is fairly quiet, but not silent, which again, is ideal for a machine that could be dangerous, because of what it is designed to do.If you’ve never used an electric mower before the ease of start up is worth it alone.

The battery is enough for me to mow half my lawn in one charge. This mower is awesome.

I got the Ryobi 40V 20″ brushless push mower for Christmas. Living in Southern California I got to use it Day 1!! I love that it came fully assembled. That is a big plus. The battery charges relatively quickly. And the family bought be a back up battery. I mowed the front and back yard and only used a part of one battery, so don’t tell them, but the backup battery wasn’t really needed. My backyard has just a bit of grass because most is shrubs and ground cover. But the mower did great. When I got to the front, however, I got one row mowed and the thing just stopped. I watched several youtube videos. They didn’t help much. But since the manual was so poor, they were the best choice I had. More on that later. I didn’t find an exact fix, but I did end up figuring out that it was some type of connection problem. After a few shakes and a bit of screaming at the thing, it started working again and I was able to finish. What I liked: the mower is quiet, light and easy to push. I really didn’t want the self propelled because I like to move fast when I mow. I liked the battery life. I also liked how the lawn looked when I was done. I actually wanted to give this 3 stars not 4, but the things I liked were strong positives. What I didn’t like: the manual is not very helpful. This mower is designed to only operate when the bag and handle are exactly in place and it is hard to tell if you have it right. While the lawn looked great when I was done, I wish that the lowest blade setting was a bit lower. This mower does not have a setting that is comparable to by gas mower. Overall, I would recommend the mower.

I bought this affordable battery operated mower because as a 70-year-old woman, I found that it was too difficult to operate the gas mower I had. Well this mower operates and handles so well and easily that I look forward to mowing my lawns. Of course I use grass clippings in the compost pile, but I noticed once when a few Oak leaves had fallen that it takes leaves up well @nd cuts them. So I started using this mower to cut up more leaves by running over them after I’ve raked them together loosely and a bit spread out. Now I enjoy not only chopped leaves in my compost pile, but some nice mulching material for wintering over flower beds. This is important to me since I’m an avid gardener.I’m going into my fourth year of using this mower and I’m not thinking of replacing it yet, but I have looked at the updated mowers Ryobi carries should I change my mind. I now own four other Ryobi battery operated outdoor tools since first purchasing this mower.
