I bought this when my Toro gas mower was in the shop for repair earlier this year. I love that it stores on end taking very little space. It cuts and bags well too. My yard is too big to mow in one shot, but I knew that would be the case when I bought it. Now that I have my Toro back, I mow as much as I can with the Ryobi, then finish with the Toro. In this way I can use less than a tank rather than one and 1/2 tanks, saving me a lot of gas

Works great. Love how quiet it is.

Have had it for about a month now and has exceeded any expectations I may have had. Considering I went from a gas powered mower to this, I was impressed at its overall power. It’s quite light for the features that are packed into this mower as well. Built to fold and store neatly in the corner of any garage, I would recommend this mower to anyone who asked

I own several Ryobi 40V products so I took a chance and went away from gas-powered mowers for the first time in my 45 years of mowing. Turns out it was no chance at all! This mower performs just as well as any mower I’ve ever run but is lighter and quieter. The biggest adjustment was the sound, or lack thereof. When in normal use it sounds about like a box fan, and the self-propel adds an element of Barbie Jeep like the kids play with. Any sheepishness about this where the other dads are concerned, though, quickly dissipated since it kicks butt! With the quiet operation and headlight I can mow my entire yard in the darker, cooler hours. And on a single battery. This is a very smart choice!

An excellent product, powerful and designed for uneven terrain. The ability to stand the unit up for storage is a great feature.

I have always been a Ryobi fan and when I finally was able to get into a house I new I had to go with a Ryobi Brushless Mower. I’m so glad I did! This has been the best mower I have ever used, simple setup and go. Can’t wait to cut my grass again.

Out of the box it has worked great. Time will tell if it and the battery hold up.

So much easier to start over gas. Does a very nice mow job. Wish bagger was a little bigger.

Plug it in and it cuts grass. Does not have a super amount of wind suction. The transmission is not calibrated well. I have to run it almost toward the lowest setting. If I don’t keep a low setting, it will lunge forward; it’s so light the more kind of jumps. It’s not super powerful. There is a 40 Volt lithium ion battery. Benefits? No smell because there is no gas or oil. Stores easily. There is a battery holding compartment under the top. I question whether one battery charge can carry the mower for a long time.

I bought this about two months ago. Done few moving since we are already in winter. As few folks mentioned it did stop when the surface is not even. I believe this happens to stop the blades being hit the floor due to slope nature of ground. My son loves it. No sound. No string to pull to get started. Will be using in full swing by spring time. Will update the review as well that time.
