I bought this model because the 40v battery is used on other Ryobi equipment I own. Mostly I got it to keep the sidewalks and patio clear of grass clippings and debris (we have a lot of concrete!) and since it’s late summer I haven’t had an opportunity to try it on fallen leaves. But it’s got decent amount of power, is not overly loud and even with that heavy 40v battery mounted it balances beautifully in one hand.

We have a very small yard, and the Ryobi tools have all been a great fit for us. A single 40V battery will mow the lawn, weed whack the edges, and get through most of the leaf blowing. This blower has plenty of power for our needs, whisking away leaves, twigs, acorns, and other bits on the ground.

Overall it’s good, but it’s only 15 inches, small working area. My previous one was 17 inch. Also, it’s too heavy, which defeated the purpose of having an electric tool.

Great blower! The design is very efficient for a battery powered device. From a 5amp battery you will get a good 30 minutes of blowing, Kicking in the turbo feature will lessen the time it has for blowing. Place a fully charged battery in it and away you go. No mixing of fuel, no smell just debris getting out of your way. If your worried about time, get a second battery.
