Plenty of torque, and I used a 2 amp hour battery, used it for quite a long time cleaning weeds from a brick sidewalk. Good battery life. The string head auto feeds on every trigger start, no bumping it on the ground, so that took a bit to get used to. Nice to not smell like 2 cycle oil afterwards!

This trimmer has an unusual amount of power, the battery charges quickly. I was really pleased with it. However, after using the edge trimmer feature only about 5 times, the metal on the head cracked. Seems it doesn’t do well going back and forth between trimmer and edger. Great if you don’t want to use the edger.

I’ve been using this trimmer since June of this year. It goes through a LOT of trimmer cord which prompted me to buy the bulk trimmer cord, 320ft reel.It’s very noisy and the string advance mechanism jams frequently. Moving the trimmer head between trimming and edging is problematic, I have to constantly turn the trimmer upside down and use my hands to accomplish this. I can’t reliably rate the durability of this product since I have not had it long enough, BUT based on my use I don’t think it will last that long. It’s very good at collecting dust zand grass clippings on the trimmer head and I feel that this will eventually burn out the motor.

Only got to try it out once, but it met my expectations. Very powerful for a battery powered garden tool. Battery last long. Was able to do my whole land (and have a big surface to cover). Batteries are expensive though.

The trimmer is well balanced and easy to use. It changes to the edging position and back quite easily. The battery clicks easily and firmly in place, but is a little hard to remove – pinching the release button and pulling at the same time requires strong hands.

I bought this after I could no longer get my gas 4-cycle trimmer to work. It’s nice not having to use gas and check the oil and wonder if the trimmer would work. It was not that old either, now I just press a button and it starts. No more frustration and works almost as good as my gas one. I was able to use just on string (wire) trimmer for half the summer and counting.
