The cutting width is adjustable for longer run time or wider cutting width. This trimmer is recommended for yards up to 1-Acre. Also included, the RYOBI Expand-It Edger Attachment will transform your string trimmer into a powerful edger. Adjust the depth on the 8 in. serrated blade to help you create professional edges on different areas in your yard. Get the most out of your dual serrated edging blade by reversing it when dull to make use of fresh cutting edges and extending the life of the blade.

Giving 4 stars not because of performance but due to no instruction manual. All instructions were on the box. Sure the manual is downloadable but not what I want to do when using for the first time. I have some hand weakness due to advanced arthritis but the edger was fairly easy to attach. I lay the entire machine on a portable table when changing attachments which eliminates having to balance the heavy ends. Edger works great. Clean edges. Plenty of power.

Great weedwacker for me has done qreat the past two years. 2 acures of yard and i can still get it done in one charge. Feels just as good as gas. I have put it threw some abuse lately and she still solid. I do keep my lithium batteries in a safe temp at all times and you should also keep them in a safe place because if you swallow lithium, its a slow painful death. Especially around children. That being said id gladly buy one again. Very happy young customer with some grass cutting experience.

I purchased this as a replacement for my 25 year old Ryobi gas trimmer. I had attachments that I learned would fit the battery powered model. I figured even if it was marginal I could still get some use out of the attachments. It proved itself with our recent snow storm. It powered the snow blower attachment admirably even though it was heavy wet snow. It’s perfect for my needs.
