I have never ending leaves during the fall season..this blower is has changed my life and is a good size for me. It is not too heavy (5ft 4in 118lbs). I would recommend getting two batteries though as the full charge does not seem to last long enough for me to comfortably finish a job at once.

Yes, we are pleased.

It is a powerful blower but I didn’t expect it to be so heavy to carry and use.

Perfect for subdivision resident, also have Riobi battery lawnmower and Riobi Weedeater. Same batteries for all three. Very happy. Not sure how this would work for a much larger location. Perfect for me. Also, only gas in my garage is in the cars, I feel safer. Thanks.

I’m a big fan of Ryobi. My garage is full of the product with over 60 different tools. I have loads of tools that aren’t even available in the Home Depot stores. I had to get them directly through the vendor online. This is the first product that disappointed me. It broke fairly quickly. I took it to the repair facility. They tore it down and showed me the defective part. It was the driveshaft. It’s made of plastic. It’s about the size of a quarter and they told me I can’t just buy a replacement driveshaft. It comes together as an entire motor assembly for 80.00 dollars. That’s 80 percent of the total product price and the motor is still working perfectly. You can imagine my disappointment. Luckily it was still under warranty.

This blower was what I needed. My other blower was not fitting the bill.

Well i had it for 6 months and the motor went out. Only used it once a month to blow small driveway and porch off. It took Ryobi over a month to get the part to the authorized repair facility. Also concerning is that Ryobi is not paying them as quick as they should. Shame on you Ryobi

Read carefully, and do your best to comprehend, for what I say is the absolute truth. I voted “YES”, that I would recommend this blower, but that comes with several caveats.First, if you’re expecting this to blow the leaves from a lawn that is larger than 20×20 then you’re going to be very disappointed. If you expect this blower to blow WET leaves, again, you’re going to be disappointed. This has NOWHERE NEAR the power of a gas blower–not even the least expensive, least powerful gas blower. But, if you have a small amount of DRY leaves or debris to clear away, this blower will work fine for your needs. I have a 16×28 deck which gathers a lot of leaves & berries from a crepe myrtle. It takes me approx 3-4 mins to blow off with a gas blower, whether the leaves are wet or dry. It took 12 mins to ALMOST** blow them off the other when they were WET. Had they been dry, I expect I could have shed them within 8-9 mins.It does a good job of clearing sawdust and trash from my garage floor and a good job blowing pine needles and such from my concrete drive–not as good on the gravel section, however. It’s certainly much less fuss than a gas blower and much quieter, though it’s still fairly loud, especially on TURBO mode–which is needed the entire time when blowing a good amount of leaves. And it’s quite light. You should not get fatigued.BATTERY LIFE–a fully charged, BRAND NEW Ryobi 40V battery lasted 12 mins @95% Turbo. Luckily, I have 2 batteries. I suspect the longest it will last on a 50/50 mix of low & turbo would be 16 mins.I gave it 3 stars because it’s very limited in what it can do, the short(ish) battery life & the lie that it has “GAS-LIKE POWER”.

I got this blower with the mower two years ago. My back yard has a three tier landscape under a big tree. It’s been a nightmare to clean out each fall. This blower has been an amazing solution! Like other reviews, i use the turbo button on the top most of the time. It’s got plenty of power. Maybe the only con is how quickly it drains the battery, especially when you use the turbo button. I suppose it takes a lot of power to run the fan that fast. It hasnt ruined the experience for me, but be prepared to do some power management if you plan to mow, trim and blow on just a couple batteries. Overall, the Ryobi 40 volt family of yard tools is really great!

I guess the blower performs mostly as advertised. However, it doesn’t seem to have to power that I expected. Perhaps I needed to buy the more powerful model.

Works fine ..it is a little heavier than I thought …

Very powerful and battery last a long time. Only drawback is that it is kind of heavy on the battery end but I figured that would be the case.

Another great product by Ryobi!!!! For being one of the less expensive cordless brands in comparison to Dewalt, Milwaukee, Hilti etc, everything I have gotten from Ryobi has exceeded my expectations!!!

A gift to our youngest son being a new home owner. He loves the CFMs that it delivers and the 40V battery he can also use with the Ryobi Hedge Trimmer we got him last year.

Id like to start this review by giving you some background. I owned this unit for 2 units before it failed due to a common issue it seems. The shaft connector which connects the spinning motor with the fan blades stripped. This is an obvious point of failure because its made of plastic and is dealing with quite a bit of torque with how many RPMS this gets up to.I submitted a ticket directly with Ryobi to ask for a fix, find a replacement part, etc and this did not help. It wasnt till I read the review section and saw that a Ryobi associate asked to email “reviews@ryobitools” to see if they could make it right. This is where my potential 1 star review turns to 4 stars. They responded (Maria was the associate) to try and replace the unit but apparently its now discontinued. What happened next was the best part. She sent me a link to the updated model and sent this to me FREE of CHARGE.This was unexpected and I sincerely appreciate the customer obsession here. I was going to stop buying Ryobi products assuming there were other cheap, prone to fail parts involved, but now that I know the CS is good with this company, I have less anxiety with buying more tools into the ecosystem.I wish I didnt need to spend hours trying to figure this out but glad I did.Overall Ill rate 4 stars, but 2 stars for quality and would not recommend this model for purchase. They may have fixed this point of failure in the new version which is https://www.homedepot.com/p/RYOBI-110-MPH-525-CFM-40-Volt-Lithium-Ion-Cordless-Variable-Speed-Jet-Fan-Leaf-Blower-with-4-0-Ah-Battery-and-Charger-Included-RY40480VNM/313378858?irgwc=1&cm_mmc=afl-ir-78091-456723-&clickid=Qt82xFVdcxyOT35wUx0Mo38vUkExsk2IEQl-WQ0 but Im not sure.
