Mainly bought unit for the battery. The box has two layers of sealing tape. The battery and charger have a large blue dot like mark near their serial numbers which do not look like they were from the manufacturer. The battery was only charged to the first light. Other Ryobi 40 volt products I have bought had a higher charge upon receiving them. Checked the unit out using a fully charged battery from my string trimmer. Unit seems to work well. Do not know if the battery and charger are new.

I bought the blower about a month ago. It works really well. I used it to do the lawn and blowing leaves out of the gutters. The turbo boost worked great to the wet leaves out.

After using these products for a whole season, I would definitely recommend them. Mowing is much more quite, especially if you enjoy listening to music while doing yard work. All of the tools have plenty of power to handle whatever you throw at it. Having several batteries ensured I was able to use every tool when needed and with the extra battery slot on the lawn mower, it meant not having to walk back and forth when a battery died. I only with they sold a multi-battery charger like they do with the 18v line of products.- Headlight on the lawn mower has come in handy when mowing in the fall- String trimmer leave a clean cut and is easy to re-load string – Hedge trimmer is lightweight and the turning handle makes it easy to wield – Chainsaw is able to handle sizable limbs, but any large tree would most certainly require a larger, gas powered chain saw with more power. I found out from experience when a tree fell during a storm. I was very happy with what I was able to take care of with just a small, electric chain saw- No more worrying about running out for gas or having to mix gas – The blower has enough power without the turbo button pushed to handle most tasks without frustration

Bought this primarily, at least until next summer, to blow snow off the deck and stairs. So far it has worked very well, and can move a surprising amount of snow. The cold doesn’t seem to bother its operation. Lots of air velocity, and so far, lots of battery life.

It is light weight and works great while using turbo! While blowing the leaves on the lawn, it only worked well while holding the turbo button, otherwise it wasn’t very powerful. You have to hold the turbo button down the whole time. It doesn’t click on or off. It was hard to hold the button down the whole time. I had it in turbo the whole time and it only ran for about 30 minutes on turbo. I’m taking it back.
