Love this blower and I use it all the time for leaves, driveway, decks etc. Very powerful and makes work a piece of cake! I was disappointed that after a little over a year the battery stopped charging. I contacted ryobi and they helped me check it out and found that it was defective. They are sending me a brand new battery!!! So impressed with the customer service. I have several ryobi products and love them all.

Cuts we’ll, but there are two issues that need attention in my opinion. The bar is flimsy and the tool isn’t balanced very well, so it’s awkward to reach a branch with both sections screwed together.

I’d give it 4.5 if I could. Overall, excellent product. 4ah battery runs it seemingly forever. I’d only ding it a half a star for the trigger. It’s a slow start when you squeeze it. Not a big deal, just kinda weird. I’d totally buy it again though. I had a WORX 20v before and it was no comparison to this.

Ordered this to allow the leaf removal job to get done without hauling out the 50′ cord for the electric bower. Used it once and when the wife saw how easy it was to use it is now her leaf blower toy. She loves it and is just waiting for leaves to fall so that she can clear the pad, patio, rock garden, and porch. Uses the same 40 Volt battery as the other tools I have.

I love this thing. Make sure you line up the arrows perfectly. Mine jammed and I had to return it. But otherwise it is fantastic! I love the strap and handle to take the weight. It works great. I bought the hedge trimmers with the battery so didn’t think I needed two. Glad this came tool only. Also remember to USE BAR/CHAIN OIL. or it will burn out. Don’t use it without adding the oil. But that’s the same with any chain saw. This is a great tool.

Mainly bought unit for the battery. The box has two layers of sealing tape. The battery and charger have a large blue dot like mark near their serial numbers which do not look like they were from the manufacturer. The battery was only charged to the first light. Other Ryobi 40 volt products I have bought had a higher charge upon receiving them. Checked the unit out using a fully charged battery from my string trimmer. Unit seems to work well. Do not know if the battery and charger are new.

This was a great purchase. The blower works well for clearing leaves and other debris from my deck and patio, the battery can also be used with my other Ryobi 40-volt products. I’ve used it in both the articulating hedge trimmer and the pole saw, with equally good results. In my experience, a battery charge lasts for at least 40 minutes. I’ve never run out of power when working so don’t know how much longer it would run.
