Unit is ok, vibrates a lot for a4 stroke, needed throttle adjustments out of the box, and the string constantly needs to be fed out.Otherwise it’s pretty good, thing cuts grass.

Have owned and used this trimmer for the past 4 months. This trimmer would be best suited for a small yard with no obstacles. It is quite underpowered for a 30cc motor. It does not work in any orientation other than upright, so any hopes of using this for tree pruning are gone as soon as it is raised above level. The quick winding string feature is great, unfortunately it gets used at least three times each lap around the yard, as the string provided snaps on the bricks and chain link requiring disassembly and rewinding each time it breaks. Upgrading to thicker string is a no-go (see underpowered engine issue). All this said, it starts easily, and when running is a reasonable value considering the purchase price.

Replaced an older power head with a Ryobi. Did research on electric v. gas 2-cycle v. 4-cycle. For my needs & preferences I selected 4-cycle. This thing is a beast. I have weed-whip, edger and power blower attachments. Blower is vastly superior to my previous 2-cycle. Cuts clean up time by at least half. Fun to use since it looks and feels like a small jet engine. Very pleases with this purchase!

This is second unit I’ve owned. The performance of the product is good. Easy to start and operate. However, durability is an issue. My first unit only lasted about 3 years before the drive clutch malfunctioned and the unit would no longer operate the attachments. After purchasing several attachments over the years, I felt that I had to invest in a new unit instead of purchasing a more dependable trimmer such as a Stihl.

The unit is well balanced and not heavy at all. The setup and startup was very easy to do. The Instructions were easy to follow when attaching and detaching the interchangeable heads. Adding the oil and fuel was very precise and easy to do. I bought the blower and edge trimmer and they work very well. I tried to use the string trimmer to edge my lawn, but the shield is too small to block debris from hitting my legs. that is the only reason I gave this a 4 star. As for the power, it is very good for the size of the engine. This unit won’t rip everything in sight, but it does the job. A shoulder strap would help with very large yards .
