I’ve purchased this model for the third time in 30+ years. I like having the ability to change attachments for different jobs. This is the only brand I’ve used for my yard equipment!

I really am proud to have bought this product. It really does meet my expectations and makes my work day in my yard much less work. It has more torque than my old 2 stroke and due to the attachment capabilities will accept all of the other Ryobi attachments, I have bought in the past. I’ve edged my sidewalks, both with the weed trimmer and with real sidewalks edger. I will have to use the broom, the cultivator, hedge trimmer in order to fully test it out. Starting the engine is a breeze, just prime, choke, pull once for a false start, a one more to run on to do the job, using just regular gasoline. I have confidence that the new 30cc will prove itself as a champion of power-heads.

I have owned an older model trimmer and love the quick link feature. I have all the attachments and think it is great to have all my tools in one. Thanks for this great product.

just bought a replacement for my older version of the same model. Had it ~10 years. Still works just fine for weedeating, but was bogging down too much trying to edge with it. Now I just have two so my son can help and we can work faster.

Works good and works with the existing tool attachments I have. Took away a star because of the wiring on the underneath side. Be aware of this since you could damage the wires depending on where you set the unit down. I plan to put some protective sleeving over the wires. Motor has some kick so I sit it on the ground to start it.

I was able to use it with my ryobi pole saw and hedge trimmer attachments, happy with the power

This is my second 4 Cycle Trimmer.. The 4 Cycle is much quieter and uses less fuel. For most of my weeding around the house and lake house, the unit is barely above idle speed. For heavy brush and thick weeds the unit power through without hesitation. My only problem with this unit when I purchased it was the idle speed was too low and the unit would stop when I eased off of the trigger. A minor carburetor adjustment and thus far no problems. My first 4 Cycle Trimmer gave me no problems until after 2.5 years of use every weekend. I will never go back to a 2 Cycle Trimmer.

This is a very nice 4 cycle machine, I am very pleased with the performance.

Setup was more difficult than the last iteration of this same tool. Fuel capacity was smaller, burned fuel faster. Not as big a fan now.
