RYOBI introduces the 15 Amp 10 in. Sliding Compound Miter Saw and 18-Volt Cordless ONE+ 1/2 in. Drill/Driver Kit w/(1)1.5 Ah Battery, Charger. This saw features a 15 Amp, 4,600 RPM motor and has a 12 in. cross cut capacity. The LED Cutline Indicator and work-light illuminates material to help improve accuracy of the cut and visibility. The extended miter range from 47° left and right provides versatility for all DIY and professional projects by accommodating a wide variety of cuts. The drill/driver features a 1/2 in. keyless chuck with a 24-position clutch and 2- speed gear box that adjusts the torque output to control the depth of the screw or fastener. This kit is powered a lithium-ion battery that holds a charge up to 4X longer, offers up to 20% more run time and is 45% lighter weight than Ni-Cd batteries. Backed by the RYOBI 3-Year Manufacturer’s Warranty, this kit includes the 15 Amp 10 in. Sliding Compound Miter Saw with LED Cutline Indicator, a 40-tooth carbide-tipped blade, table extensions, a work clamp, a blade wrench, a dust bag, the 18-Volt ONE+ Lithium-Ion Cordless 1/2 in. I only review products that I have used a bunch of times. I’m very happy with this reasonably priced Miter Saw. I checked the accuracy of the miter cuts once I unboxed the unit, it was dead on. It isn’t a top of the line saw but it works great for everyday average use.

Nothing more I can ask for in a miter saw. It’s juat what I needed. Sliding 10” compound miter saw for less than $200. This thing is a steal. I can’t believe I waited so long to get it. My only complaint is now I want the miter saw stand but I just can’t justify the price they sell them for right now.

The sales price for this sliding miter saw for the value it provides is unbeatable. The provided blade was good quality and made clean cuts with no tear out. The blade was already adjusted to 90. One small issue: the shadow line does not show up well during outdoor daytime use, would have preferred laser line, but I never rely on these to make my cuts. The miter angle was dead on accurate straight out of the box. NOTE: the base is long and very study so on some miter saw stands you will need a plywood sub base to mount saw and then mount to brackets. This saw handled a stack of 5 poplar 1” x 6” boards, 2” x 12” hard dry oak, and various yellow pine and plywood cuts with stock blade and I have had no issues.. but I did buy some good Diablo blades because of online reviews I saw when doing my research. Maybe it wasn’t poor blade performance but instead poor operator technique — I’ll save the Diablo blades for now.

I have an older model back when they were that dark blue. This model is good and is not as heavy as the older one. My only issue is the sliding motion. Its not very smooth despite adding some oil. In comparison, they are pretty good but prefer the older sliding models. no laser one. If they made those changes in future models I would surely buy another. for now this will do.
