RYOBI introduces the 15 Amp 10 in. Sliding Compound Miter Saw and 18-Volt Cordless Airstrike ONE+ Pin Nailer Kit. This saw features a 15 Amp, 4,600 RPM motor and has a 12 in. cross cut capacity. The LED Cutline Indicator and work-light illuminates material to help improve accuracy of the cut and visibility. The extended miter range from 47° left and right provides versatility for all DIY and professional projects by accommodating a wide variety of cuts. The headless pin nailer drives 1/2 in. to 1-3/8 in. pins and can shoot up to 3500 pin nails per charge with a 4.0 Ah LITHIUM+ 18-Volt battery (not included). The dry-fire lockout protects your pin nailer and extends its life. The double-action trigger design allows for convenient, sequential driving and the included non-marring pads keep the work surface free of tool marks. The LED light optimizes vision throughout the job and GRIPZONE overmold adds comfort. Backed by the RYOBI 3-Year Manufacturer’s Warranty, this kit includes the 15 Amp 10 in. Nothing zeroed out of box. Fence hard to zero, moves as tightened. I cut scraps till I was satisfied it cut square. Side extension rails aren’t level with table. Clamp almost useless; on right side, the saw motor bumps into it so you can’t use it there, and on the left, it moves after tightened. The sliding arm feels “gritty” and can be a little tricky to get moving. The “shadow” of the blade is on the money on the left, and fairly close on the right; I don’t know how to adjust it. If the clamp worked and the side extension rails were level with the table, I’d have rated it higher.Once fence and vertical adjustments are made, the saw works great. Using it for a month now to cut baseboards and molding. With a good blade, does an excellent job. Got used to the “gritty” slide after a few cuts. Swivel table and compound angle setting are very easy to use. I don’t rely on the “shadow” to make my cuts, only for an initial setting.I recommend it for home-owner occasional use, good value for the price. I wouldn’t recommend for a carpenter who would use it a lot.

Im a contractor and have purchased nothing but milwaukee, ive invested about $50,000 in milwauke tools for my company but while out on a simple job running base and crown for a buddy my milwaukee saw stopped responding. I was 3 hours from home so I decided to just go and buy another one from the nearest home depot but when I got there they didnt carry the milwaukee saws in the store and I didnt want to spend alot of money on a saw that wasnt our tool line and we’d never use. I thought about buying the bosch as i have one in my fab shop and it works great but knew my guys would never grab that one and would always grab one of the milwaukees and that would be $700 gone so i saw the ryobi sitting there with its apealing $179 price tag but thought to myself no one professional would ever buy a ryobi anything but I thought to myself well riged milwaukee and ryobi are all manufactured by TTI so maybe it wont be that bad but either way for a single job why not. Got back set it up and it would not cut a straight line for love nor money. The blade wobled, the fence wasnt straight, the gaurd violently hit the shadow gauge it was junk. I went back quckly exchanged it for another one and bought the ryobi stand for it too because my milwaukee stand was having a hard time mating up to this saw but finally the second saw actually did what it was supposed to do. Not the greatest miters and by no means a trim saw but not terrible for the money. Dust collection on this saw is 6/10 catches the larger chunks but OSHA would not approve. It is currently sitting in the storage side of the shop collecting dust but might pull it out again and maybe use it for framing and just give it a longevity test. Over all if your just a weekend warrior or perhaps a handyman then sure its a good enough saw for you but based on some of the pictures in these reviews of how people are using these saws please your fingers and I beg you go watch some youtube videos on how to use a miter saw
