RYOBI introduces the 15 Amp 10 in. Sliding Compound Miter Saw and 18-Volt Cordless Airstrike ONE+ Pin Nailer Kit. This saw features a 15 Amp, 4,600 RPM motor and has a 12 in. cross cut capacity. The LED Cutline Indicator and work-light illuminates material to help improve accuracy of the cut and visibility. The extended miter range from 47° left and right provides versatility for all DIY and professional projects by accommodating a wide variety of cuts. The headless pin nailer drives 1/2 in. to 1-3/8 in. pins and can shoot up to 3500 pin nails per charge with a 4.0 Ah LITHIUM+ 18-Volt battery (not included). The dry-fire lockout protects your pin nailer and extends its life. The double-action trigger design allows for convenient, sequential driving and the included non-marring pads keep the work surface free of tool marks. The LED light optimizes vision throughout the job and GRIPZONE overmold adds comfort. Backed by the RYOBI 3-Year Manufacturer’s Warranty, this kit includes the 15 Amp 10 in. haven’t used it a lot yet hoping for more activity in the Spring but so far everything works great The cut light is interesting in that it shines a bright light on either side of the blade and they cast a very thin shadow on the cut line that tells where the blade will touch the wood.

The sales price for this sliding miter saw for the value it provides is unbeatable. The provided blade was good quality and made clean cuts with no tear out. The blade was already adjusted to 90. One small issue: the shadow line does not show up well during outdoor daytime use, would have preferred laser line, but I never rely on these to make my cuts. The miter angle was dead on accurate straight out of the box. NOTE: the base is long and very study so on some miter saw stands you will need a plywood sub base to mount saw and then mount to brackets. This saw handled a stack of 5 poplar 1” x 6” boards, 2” x 12” hard dry oak, and various yellow pine and plywood cuts with stock blade and I have had no issues.. but I did buy some good Diablo blades because of online reviews I saw when doing my research. Maybe it wasn’t poor blade performance but instead poor operator technique — I’ll save the Diablo blades for now.

Excellent saw, but could use a better dust collector. Wood chips go everywhere, actually shoot back towards the operator instead of going in the shoot that it’s supposed to go into.
