RYOBI introduces the 15 Amp 10 in. Sliding Compound Miter Saw and 18-Volt Cordless Airstrike ONE+ Pin Nailer Kit. This saw features a 15 Amp, 4,600 RPM motor and has a 12 in. cross cut capacity. The LED Cutline Indicator and work-light illuminates material to help improve accuracy of the cut and visibility. The extended miter range from 47° left and right provides versatility for all DIY and professional projects by accommodating a wide variety of cuts. The headless pin nailer drives 1/2 in. to 1-3/8 in. pins and can shoot up to 3500 pin nails per charge with a 4.0 Ah LITHIUM+ 18-Volt battery (not included). The dry-fire lockout protects your pin nailer and extends its life. The double-action trigger design allows for convenient, sequential driving and the included non-marring pads keep the work surface free of tool marks. The LED light optimizes vision throughout the job and GRIPZONE overmold adds comfort. Backed by the RYOBI 3-Year Manufacturer’s Warranty, this kit includes the 15 Amp 10 in. RYOBI always manage to strike a perfect balance between quality and affordability. I’ve had this saw for about three months now, and have used it to cut framing lumber, hardwood flooring, vinyl flooring, plywood, OSB, MDF and a variety of trim. It’s light enough to be portable without needing a stand (although I still use one), the construction feels sturdy, the cuts are great and the LED light is very handy for positioning your cut line. Best of all, it’s a great bang for your buck.

I have an older model back when they were that dark blue. This model is good and is not as heavy as the older one. My only issue is the sliding motion. Its not very smooth despite adding some oil. In comparison, they are pretty good but prefer the older sliding models. no laser one. If they made those changes in future models I would surely buy another. for now this will do.
