RYOBI introduces the 12 in. Sliding Miter Saw with LED. The heavy duty 15 Amp motor delivers up to 3,800 RPM for the power to make difficult cuts. It features a 1-1/4 in. dust port to help keep your work area clean. The 40-tooth Carbide-Tipped blade provides improved performance for fast, clean cuts and an LED Cutline Indicator for higher accuracy. Backed by the RYOBI 3-Year Manufacturer’s Warranty, the 12 in. Sliding Miter Saw with LED includes a 40-tooth Carbide Tipped Blade, table extensions, a blade wrench, a dust bag, a work clamp, and an operator’s manual.

Works well. Slides smoothly and effortlessly. Came ready to go, didn’t need to adjust for square squareness. The only issue is the dust collection even with a shop vac on it. But I knew that going in from another review. Not a deal breaker. Really good price for the quality and features. The depth stop was great for 5 and a half inch post sleeves.

I bought this saw to replace a compound mitre saw I’d had for years to cut trim and molding, but it wouldn’t cut anything bigger than a 2×4. This saw is great, powerful and has a long enough slide to cut 2x12s and tall enough to cut 4x4s or 4x6s. I’ve had it now for 2 years and didn’t realize till recently that it had a problem that wasn’t the operator. The fence, a one piece cast and machined aluminum that’s not adjustable, is not straight. With a straight edge all the way across the table touching the ends of the fence, there is a .090″ gap behind the work at the point the blade cuts. This is OK for cutting long lumber or framing but if I’m only trimming an end where the work is just contacting one side of the fence, all cuts are crooked. Using the compound mitre for trim is impossible. Other than this issue, this is a great saw and I still recommend it, but check for this issue right away. By the time I realized it wasn’t the operator, it was too late to return it. G Cowan Stockbridge Ga
