It is a good saw and I would rate it 5 stars, except the “LED Cutline Indicator” is a joke. If they just called it a light I would be fine but it certainly can’t be used to identify a cutline.

I own two very expensive saws The only problem is they are extremely heavy to carry around from job to job I bought this because it is extremely lightweight I took it to the first job and this thing works amazing it cuts extremely clean it’s as easy to use as any other saw I have but this thing cuts like one of the big boys I was Leary about the name brand but I’m really glad I bought this it seems to be built extremely well the light is very bright when cutting which makes it easier on the eyes

I am using this saw to install some wide plank laminate flooring. It is working very well, easy to set up. It doesn’t quite cut the laminate complete at as 45 degree angle ( I have a bay window). The LED light guideline makes it easy to reverse the piece to complete the cut. Note – this is not a red laser alignment feature, but a bright white LED that casts a shadow of the blade on the workpiece. This is nice as it cannot become misaligned and you can easily see the precise width of cut.I was trying to decide between this and the 10 inch model and decided that the 10 inch was too big and required a lot of depth on the workbench. The one drawback I’ve found is when cutting baseboard upright against the fence. Going to the left miter position is fine, but at the right 45 deg miter the motor hits the top of the 3 1/4 inch baseboard before the cut is complete. 90 degree cuts are fine. You could make this cut using tilt, but that adjustment is more time consuming. I ended up using my old 10 inch non-sliding, non-compound miter saw to cut the baseboard.

Great saw for the projects I do. I make a lot of Pinterest items for people and this saw is perfect for 1×4’s , 1×10’s you name it. Very quiet the double bevel and slid is very smooth.

This saw works great for the reason I wanted, thanks for a great product.

Perfect saw for my home projects, especially for the price. Larger boards have to be flipped and cut twice to get all the way through, but this is perfect for my uses. It’s lightweight and reliable.

Bought a week-and-a-half Initial purpose was to support installation of an engineered wood floor. It’s doing what I need it to do and has some nice features.Easy to unpack, set up and operate. Light. I am not noticing a lack of power or capacity for my purposes at 10a and 7.14″ vs former 10″ saws. Nice features including a light and a separate power switch. Depth stop + sliding result in satisfactory dado cuts – I assume the stop is standard on a sliding miter saw – my last compound miter saw did not have one..

Works good and gets the job done

It’s perfect for cutting 2×4 and 1×4 or less. Makes a smaller mess than the 10 inch saw blades. I highly recommend this for fences and small projects

This was one of the best tools I have ever purchased. I wished I had this 50 years ago. I can’t say enough good about this. I was in the market for a couple of wood screen doors for my porch and everything I looked at was junk. So I decided to buy this saw and a few other things and built my own doors that came out absolutely awesome. Great tool and great price.

Great little saw, it took care of everything I threw at it. From shiplap, to base molding, I had no issues ripping right through it all.

Good saw at at good price. I would recommend this saw to anyone looking for a basic miter saw.

Love the basic features of this unit. Only issue I’ve ran into with this unit is that when using the wood stabilizer on the right hand side where the handle is, the saw will not go all the way down or back when the saw is slid backwards to complete the cut. Unless the lumber is not pushed all the way back, the stabilizer will interfere with a complete cut. Will find a way around this, though.

Did the job. Works well. Easy to move around.
