Works nicely for the most part. The line bump/advance doesn’t always work flawlessly, but still this is less frustrating than most trimmers I’ve used in the past. I was surprised how well it was able to edge with a quick twist. Very easy to use and does a good job, I’m pleased. Battery life seems fine for my needs on a quarter acre subdivision lot.

This weed eater is good for light work, but I don’t recommend it for large jobs. The battery does not last as long as I would like. It charges fairly quickly though.

The trimmer performs as stated. It’s perfect for what I do which is cleaning grave sites and its quite enough to use while people are visiting their departed family members without disturbing their visitation. Only problem is when the batteries give out, they are out. More than one battery is needed per job just in case.

This is a great trimmer. Actually it is the same model as my last one that I wore out after three years. It still might have been under warranty but I have no idea where the original receipt was. Besides this one looks so nice right out of the box I told my wife I did not want to use it. But I put it to the test and it is great, lots of Springtime growth had to get knocked down after five months of wet rainy weather where I could not do any yard work. Yes, this kit was sold as reconditioned. I knew that when I bought it and I got a great price from Home Depot. I only gave it four stars because the charger did not work right out of the box. That tells me that the recondition company did not even check it. One red light came on and that never changed no matter what I did. But, when I called the warranty department all I had to do was send them a pic of my receipt and they got a new (reconditioned?) charger in the mail. My old charger still works great and now I have four batteries. (I also have a drill and sander that use the same batteries)
