Awesome It was like brand new. I completed my 300 feet and my neighbors on the same small battery sent. I would recommend the 4ah for the long hall. Really happy with its performance. About half the weight of my gas edger. If your edging for the first time you may not get the same result. Battery not going to last as long.

So far so good with this product. The battery has ample power to edge my lawn. The one drawback is the amount of dirt the edger tosses all over the place. I am hoping once I do this several times the process will be cleaner.

I used the edger for first time today and was quite impressed. I already have the 18v Ryobi leaf blower and string trimmer; they work just as well too. The edger has plenty of power, but I used my 4 amp/hr for a longer run time. I was able to edge my driveway, the neighbors driveway (that butts up against my lawn) the sidewalk and the patio on one battery, plus I finished the trimming and blowing with the same battery. My home is on an average size, Michigan suburban lot. This tool is probably not a good choice if you have an acre or two…..

The RYOBI 18–volt is as expected. Have used once and works great. Only problem is the battery didn’t make it through my front and backyard but, I can admit that I took my time because my lawn was over grown. Now that my lawn is up to speed the next time I am sure the battery will make it. It didn’t take long to recharge either but, that’s what I expected for an 18 volt.

The Edger works great. Takes a little practice to align the blade with the edge of the sidewalk but the second time had it down.

this saves me a lot of time edging my lawn. it is powerful and can even trench. if the lawn has not been edged in a while then it will most likely take 2 batteries. but for a lawn that has been edged weekly one battery should be enough.
