It’s heavier and more powerful than the last one I owned (have to get use to it). It arrived complete. The first placed I purchased from had key parts missing. So far it does a great job edging and trimming, no mechanical problems considering it’s a “recondition” tool.

The ryobi reconditioned weed wacker is amazing. It’s like new! I was hesitant in buying it because it’s not new new. But darn well almost new. I have no issues with it. Best $99.99 I have ever spent. P.s. if you maintain your tools it will last you forever but if you let them go, then you experience trouble.

It appeared to have all new parts on the string trimmer end (head, shield, handle) and new gas tank. Overall, it looked almost new. It was a little sluggish when quickly throttling up from idle. A quick adjustment to its low speed screw fixed that. It requires the small A-circle shaped Carburetor Adjustment Tool screwdriver for that. I saved money going reconditioned.Home-Depot=You need to pack it better for shipment instead of letting it bounce around in a cardboard box. It survived the trip despite having no packing to cushion the machine for shipping.
