Came as described, looked unused but smelled as though gas had been put in, started easily following supplied instructions.As per instructions i ORDERED a strap.Used TRU-Fuel ,started quick, runs amazing, lots of power once warmed up,as others stated cone did blow off when hot, but re-installed and CLICKED into place and held, I think the exhaust goes thru the air stream and causes expansion, will add a screw if necessary. As recommended you should use ear protection. Awesome experience for me, will certainly consider refurb Ryobi products in the future. FYI I have been a ryobi customer since Home Depot introduced the brand

The blower came in and the box and unit was damaged, three parts were broken off and laying in the box, I did not want to reorder a reconditioned one again so they refunded the money and I purchased a new one, it works great. Starts up easy and really cleans up my yard quickly.

The factory reconditioned ZRRY25AXB works well. After receiving in it Jan 2018 noticed a growling sound at low speed louder than the engine exhaust. After removing the 3 T25 torx screws at the base of the blower nozzle coukd see the 4 plastic fins at the base of the blower fan were starting to wear out. These plastic fins fit into the aluminum flywheel and may eventually break completely.Applying butyl tape sealer ( a tar like gummy sealer) to the fins and reassembling made it run quietly. The part number for blower fan stage 1 529730001 was found on https://www.ryobitools.com/support/parts for RY25AXB. since warranty requires returning the whole blower to a service center, and the fine print of warranty says blower fans are not covered, might need to order a new fan if the noise comes back.

The blower works as I expected. It starts easily and is effective. The weight and rotational inertia effects are pronounced as some have commented, but I soon became accustomed to this. The blower arrived in an oversized box with virtually no packing, resulting in breakage of the plastic carburetor housing during shipping. My local HomeDepot’s rental and repair shop properly accepted it as a warranty repair, which they completed in about 2 weeks.

This baby is great, very powerful. Starts up quick. I had a 170mph with 290cfm blower, and this ryobi 160mph 520cfm blower has way more power with a wider blowing area. A bit heavier than I thought but does the job better
