This unit functioned great, from the first, easy starting, loaded with power. I use this unit to power the tiller attachment. It was a good buy.

The Reconditioned Ryobi 4 cycle gas trimmer works great. The only thing that I can say that I’m not completely satisfied with is that it takes several pulls of the cord to start it when it’s cold., other than that, it runs good and is easy to use.

I ordered this item for my son. He is very please with the power of this weed eater. The best part is that the interchangeable attachment, you can go from doing your grass to trimming your trees. He love it.

It was shipped and received much faster than I expected . Never did say if it came with oil or how much to put in . When I added some and ran the unit it began smoking so realized I put in too much . The measuring plug and oil reservoir is awkward . Also does not seem to have the blowing power vs the 2 cycle Ryobi I replaced. Starts easy , this price is right and hopefully will last a few years longer than past 2 cycle Ryobi gas models I have owned.

This is a good 4 cycle trimmer. Because it is a 4 cycle engine, it works a little differently. Rather than mix the oil with the gas like you would with a 2 cycle, the oil goes into the crankcase. Make sure you don’t put in too much, or it will smoke badly. Also, you have to keep the engine pretty level. You can’t tilt it on its side to get hard to reach areas, like between fences and such, or it will smoke. Being a 4 cycle, it has a lot more torque at low RPMs. Sometimes,I have to remember to keep giving it more gas (throttle), so it cuts well. I’m curious how it will do when/if I hook it up to my tiller attachment. Being a 4 cycle, it will probably do quite well.

It was easy to get set up. It didn’t come with a manual but that was easily found online. I had some attachments from the first generation model and they work fine with it. I used it to till some ground and it is powerful.

Works great…less noise. Slightly heavier than the 2 cycle version. Nice not having to mix the oil and gas.

Does the job and is lighter weight than competitive 4 cycle trimmers. Cleared a half acre of weeds and sapling trees with no problem Had to access YouTube videos for line load instructions (reason for the 4 of 5 star rating).
