I have a heavy-duty and rural task for the weed whacker. When I first bought a string trimmer/weed whacker from Home Depot, I thought, “I’m sure they’re all basically the same,” and bought a Black & Decker Grasshog 700. Nope. After that conked out, Consumer Reports led me to the Ryobi. What a difference. It’s so great. It’s heavier but well balanced so just as easy to handle. Felt sturdy and well built. Because the motor air intake is at the top, it doesn’t get clogged with weeds. Wider reach and string action. Higher horsepower. Just terrific.

Hi I just now received my Ryobi electric trimmer so I took it for a spin the results this trimmer it’s more of a professional-grade it is more powerful then my gas weed eater it is easy to use Easy to load no hassle should I go with gas or keep on using electric but this more powerful than any one of my weed eaters that I’ve been using over the years I am very impressed and satisfied with it I would definitely recommend it to my friends
