Just purchased this last week and gave it a shot. Every thing worked great, light weight and showed enough power for a small yard with a light amount of leaves. I would have loved to keep it however, it would take forever to handle a decent size yard. Hated to take it back needed a unit with more POWER. What a great price and return was no problem.

I am very satisfied with my reconditioned Ryobi blower. I bought it mainly to blow the leaves out from under/behind shrubs where leaves accumulated and it was difficult to remove these leaves by hand/rake. The 2 speeds works well because I have small rocks as a ground cover under the shrubs and the high speed will blow away the rocks, and the low speed blows the leaves only. I also fabricated a 10ft extension using a 2×3 rain gutter so I can blow the leaves out from my gutters.The only problem I have is there are two pieces that fit together: blower tube and the axial fan motor. The blower tube piece is supposed to lock into the axial fan motor blower motor piece via the tab and slot, but mine tab/slot cannot be pushed together to lock. As a result, occasionally the blower tube piece flys off when using because it is not locked.

Works well enough, wish it had a little more power, but then again there are beefier models. Also wish I would have went cordless, it can be a bit annoying having to unwind and then wind back up enough extension cord. I would recommended cordless if you’re considering a leaf blower, and also maybe a little more power; it seems like this takes quite a few times going back and forth before I get all the grass clippings and leafs blown off.
