   My older MacBook Pro had a loose headphone jack. We used it often to play music for years but it finally gave out and unplugged it itself all the time. It was between fixing the old macbook pro or buying this and it turned to work great. PROS: Small, convenient, silver colored like the MacBook Pro, works flawlessly CONS: It’s a little wide so although it uses one USB slot, it blocks the next one if the other cable is thick as well.

   I bought this item cause on my laptop the sound board wasn’t working and I got my Mac used. To fix the sound board would have costed me, from 250-450 to fix it. So I went to B&H and i was told to buy this stero sound adapter it works fine. I am so glad that the sales people at B&H could solve my problem and save me money all at the same time. It works very well.

   I purchased this product because I needed to add a sound card to my PC desktop computer. It has a Windows XP operating system. I already had a similar external sound card installed and it worked perfectly. However, when I installed this 1 to the computer, the audio coming from both cards was distorted and sounded horrible. I disconnected this card, and the other card worked perfectly again. I gave this card a 1 star rating because it didn’t work for my application. I’m sure it’s a fine product for someone else’s application.
