I use this active USB 2.0 cable to connect my HD Logitech Webcam Pro 9000 mounted over my family room TV to my computer in my computer hutch. Max USB 2.0 cable length is spec’d at about 16 feet. This active cable allows me to place my USB camera more than 16 feet away.

This is a fairly decent cable. The outside conductor protection seems about and the ends are made well. Of course the biggest plus is that is what I ordered, it fits and it works.
