I use this adapter to link my laptop computer to my Blackmagic Design ATEM Mini Pro ISO switcher. It works great. Allows me to connect a CAT6 cable from the switcher to my laptop for more switcher controls. The USB-C port on the switcher then gets connected to a Samsung T7 1Tb drive for video capture.

This adapter seems of better build quality and longevity than many others. It performs as expected it did not work in my case. I was using a blackmagic atem mini to connect to my PC. Unsure why it might not work, but other use cases this is probably fine
