Its just ok. Speeds are as advertised the only issue and whats making it a 3 star is that the usb c connection sometimes disconnects because the cable connection does not go all the way in. I tried different cables and even thunderbolt cables.

Bought one of these for live multitrack. It immediately didn’t work straight out of the box. would not mount and got hot. Failed to even appear in Disk Utility. Got an RMA from B&H who were great as usual, new one sent out quickly. This replacement one ‘works’ but it fails to reliably negotiate the correct transfer speed for the connection. it sticks at 480Mbps, rebooting the computer will wake it up to 5Gbps. Obviously not ideal for live recording situations where rebooting computers that are also running system software for the show is not a viable option. Returning this one and won’t be buying Sabrent SSD’s again. A pity because i actually like a lot of their cheap and cheerful peripheral products … but their foray into SSD’s needs to be better executed…
