Whenever I got near enough to bump a knob on the stove, I would turn on a burner. Problem solved with the knob covers. They are a little to big to fit all 6 knobs, so I alternated them, using 4. Problem solved. I noticed the covers have made slight scratch marks on the stainless steel.

I bought this product to prevent my 18 months old grandson from turning on the stove and it has been wonderful! I think I will continue to keep them on because my stove often turns on if you lean too closely against it. I have had situation where I woke up because I smelled gas. With the covers over the knob, I do not have to worry about constantly checking the stove before bedtime. It also goes well with my black and white stainless steel appliances.
