This is a simple design.Easy to apply and easy to use.This has a very strong adhesive that sticks to the surface and has a push lock.Helps keep my almost 3 year old out of my refrigerator.This is better than past similar locking devices I have used because this is easier to apply and use daily without the pieces breaking.

The concept is good. It’s slender and not that easy to open. I wanted these for my dishwasher and washing machine. For my dishwasher it didn’t work because the saftey lock was hard to open due to the location of the dishwasher handle and the type of safety lock.I wanted it on top of the handle but it was hard to open where it was and under the handle it was hard to see to open it. I had thought to maybe use it for my washing machine because it’s a front loader. It seemed to work better on my washing machine. But it would be nice if it was a tiny bit longer. I have only used one other type of Lock and my kids figured out how to open it. I do think this would be tricky for a little toddlers or babies to figure out how to open. But it wasn’t quick and easy for me as an adult either. So for something that you use everyday and this might be a tricky lock to use. But for my washing machine I thought it was handy and would prevent my kids from opening my washing machines.

My dogs kept getting into the garbage by pressing their noses on the side of the roll out cabinet. This stopped that from happening. Let the adhesive cure for 24 hours and wash the surface as recommended. It was necessary.

I use these locks on my freezer doors. They work well and are easy to open IF you install the female end on the front of the freezer. One hand operation is simple. Problem is, the male end (the tab on the vinyl strap) is the one that always breaks. But it is REPLACEABLE. So why don’t they include an extra tab or two in each package to save time when one breaks unexpectedly? Hmmmm?

I tried these on our utensil drawer in out kitchen, which out little likes to pull spoons out of all the time. Maybe its just the material my drawer is made of, but these did not work for me. They didn’t stick. My little one pulled it right off the side of the cabinet when he pulled the drawer open, the sticky didn’t hold. I followed installation instructions to the T. These might work for refrigerators or toilet seats, but not drawers.

Although I was aware of this product I had never tried it or anything like it, I resorted to duct tape because thats what I had on hand, and duct tape leaves a sticky mess compared to these straps. I would definitely buy these again! It was very easy to install, just pull the piece off covering the sticky portion like a band-aid and stick it where you want it. I used it on my dryer because my door latch was broken and I though this would be perfect! It would keep my door shut and the kids out! Plus every time I did a load of laundry and was using the duct tape I had to put a new piece or multiple pieces on every time and it left all the stickiness behind. This strap however doesn’t have to be replaced every time and when it comes time to take it off and or replace it, I will only have to deal with two much smaller areas that could possibly leave a sticky residue. Very happy with this product and will be buying and recommending to friends.
