The Colombian Leather Laptop Case from Samsonite accommodates a laptop with up to a 15.6″ screen. The bag’s padding protects not only your laptop but also your accessories. The durable antique brass hardware won’t warp, rust, or break, and together with the tear-resistant Colombian leather, ensures your laptop stays safe and secure at all times. The bag features a flap-style closure with 2 adjustable straps and snap closures. The straps can be adjusted to provide a customized fit for the bag’s contents, ensuring the bag’s contents don’t shift during transport.
The padded accessory compartments are designed to hold items such as a portable hard drive or a wireless mouse. A dedicated rear zippered compartment holds files so they don’t get crumpled or torn. The padded leather handle makes it easy to hold your bag for extended periods of time and the padded shoulder strap can be used for hands-free transport. When not needed, the shoulder strap can be detached and stored out of the way inside the bag.

Looks great, sounds (yes, sounds), smells great. Lots of space for multiple binders and files, compartments for organized storage, and great padding for protection of electronics. Don’t know what the complaints about weight are all about – are there really people out there for whom a pound or so for strong, quality material is “too much” weight???

I bought this to replace a Trunk and Co. bag I bought in Paris in 1998, the nylon was showing it’s age. The leather bag is built to a high standard, and designed well for a laptop and files, however, it is heavy and less adaptable than the old nylon bag. Fit and finish is very professional, the bag really looks the part, as a briefcase. As a travel bag/ messenger bag etc. it is just too heavy, too restrictive, and the faux belt buckles don’t allow for oversized loads.

I am an IT consultant and travel with this bag every single day all around LA and OC to various meetings and my office. It has held up amazingly for over 2 years of hard use and every blemish just adds character. I did have an issue with the tiny screws in the main flap clasps starting to come out shortly after I got it but instead of sending it back or in for repair I simply put a single drop of super glue on each screw (completely invisible) and they have been locked in solid without an issue since. Leather conditioner every 6 months and it’s holding up great1

Very Nice feel to the leather and bag. Only a small flaw that I notice is that the bag does not align well when using the shoulder strap. Kind of wobbly and needs readjustment always. Other than that being picky, I am glad to have the bag.
