Carry all of your gear in style and comfort with the black Tectonic 17" Perfect Fit Laptop Backpack from Samsonite. This pack features a separate, padded compartment fitting laptops up to 17", a front organizer pocket with a sleeve for your iPad or tablet, and a spacious main compartment for the rest of your gear. An exterior top pocket is useful for small items such as headphones and sunglasses. Wear the backpack with the comfortable, padded, adjustable shoulder straps, or carry it using the convenient padded top handle. There’s also a rear strap for use with a rolling luggage trolley handle. For comfort and to wick away moisture, the back panel features 3D padded mesh. Made of 1680D polyester, this lightweight 3.1-pound bag is strong and durable.

I researched a lot of backpacks to bring to a recent 4 day trip to London. It was nice having a sturdy, yet stylish bag to carry my laptop at the back and special front area for my Beads. It also had plenty of room for magazine, toiletries, and Cadbury chocolates to bring after the trip. Upon return, our son needed a backpack and showed him mine. He loved it so much that he took it back with him to college. I ordered a new one for myself. When It arrived, I showed it to our 17 year old daughter who immediately said that is perfect for her to use for her senior year in high school in the fall. So I am now ordering my third one in 6 week! Well done, Samsonite!

I have bene on the search for a good backpack to replace my old one for quite some time. Happy to run across this one, it offers a sufficient amount of pockets so that you can organize your items in a good tidy way without getting lost in excessive and numerous but useless pockets. The backpack is very comfortable, even with heavy books and laptops inside. I sometimes carry heavy books around. The look is ok, not ugly but not not something would catch your eyes at first glance, which I am completely OK with it. If you want a bag for heavy duty for schools or work, I recommend it.

So glad I purchased this bag, I travel alot with all of my electronics, ie. Laptop, Tablet, DSLR Camera, Spare Batteries, and alot of cables, This bag easily fits all of these items, and it is still comfortable even when full. The day after receiving this bag I had to be at the airport to catch a flight, this bag truly is TSA approved, I easily unzipped the back compartment and layed this bag flat on the belt with no problems. Another great feature is the adjustable laptop holster, you can custom size it for any laptop you have upto 17″.

Pocket size and locations are all well thought out. Easy to access all parts of the bag while traveling by plane, train, foot or car. Keeps laptop and tablets safe and allow plenty of room to stuff papers, a light coat and other odd daily items. Wish the oversized headphone pocket was 1/4 the size as it makes for a great quick access location for wallets and phones while traveling through TSA and other checkpoints. Also wish the straps on the backpack were stiff. There is an elastic connection at the top of both straps for comfort. This instead just makes it difficult to pull the backpack in tight to your body for a comfortable fit for when your walking block after block. A chest buckle would also have been a great touch to pull the bag tighter to your body for those quick runs to your next flight and your three terminals away. Bag was a good price and has most the options I was looking for.

I have found the Samsonite Laptop Backpack to meet and even exceed my expectations. The TSA approved zip down saves time and energy in going through airport security. This laptop backpack is very sturdy and easy to carry in my car as well as on my motorcycle. I feel that my computer and tablet are both secure and safe as I travel. There is plenty of room for power cords and hard drives as well as designated space for papers and file folders. I have not found anything that is a negative.
