Purchased this as a Christmas gift for our son who is in college and has been wanting to switch from a backpack to a messenger bag. I researched lots of bags before deciding on this one — this bag seemed to check all the boxes with the laptop compartment, a place for pens, phone, keys, an extra pocket on the outside for easy access, a padded shoulder strap, lightweight, durable fabric, etc. My son loved it and has already loaded it up with all his essentials and ready to start a new semester. One feature I’d have loved to see is an outside pouch for a water bottle. Nevertheless, this one was roomy enough for a water bottle in the inside (just would have been more convenient to be able to access on the outside).

The bag is nice a spacious. The problem I have is the clips are not feasible when carrying more than just a laptop. The clips have gotten caught 3 times and have given way while carrying it on my shoulder causing it fall to the ground.
