With a 1500R curvature, the C34J791 34″ 21:9 Curved FreeSync VA Monitor from Samsung offers a viewing experience that envelops the viewer in their multimedia content. Flicker-free technology, AMD FreeSync support, Game Mode, and Eye Saver Mode all help to provide a healthy and enjoyable time whether you’re writing up a report, playing games, or simply kicking back and watching a movie.
This Samsung monitor features a 3440 x 1440 resolution, a 3,000:1 contrast ratio, a 300 cd/m² brightness rating, a 100 Hz refresh rate, a 4 ms response time, and support for up to 16.7 million colors all designed to provide a crisp, clear picture with reduced ghosting and blur. Additionally, the C34J791 display offers 178° horizontal and vertical viewing angles along with the ability to tilt the display or mount it to the wall for more comfortable viewing. Setup is simple as this monitor comes equipped with DisplayPort, HDMI, and Thunderbolt 3 inputs as well as a built-in USB 3.0 hub to connect USB compatible peripherals directly to the display. For mounting this monitor to a wall, there is a 100 x 100mm VESA mount.

This is a fantastic monitor. I use it daily for work, for which I need multiple windows and Microsoft tools open. The clarity and color replication is fantastic. Also, I game occasionally, and this monitor provides more than enough clarity, response time and functionality for your average (non competitive) gamer like myself. I use this monitor primarily for gaming and school work! It gives me an edge on fps because of the field of view it offers. The monitor also allows me to have multiple applications up on one screen. The 34 inches provide enough room to make two windows on one screen useable while doing school work. I have enjoyed the many hours spent using this monitor.

I have a 43inch computer monitor from another company, but I bought this model while looking for another sub-monitor because of the heavy workload. This is a review after using it for about a year now. The first monitor from another company was larger than this product, but now the monitor has become a sub-monitor. In particular, it was a new world even though I am studying computer major as to the function of Thunderbolt. First of all, I use this monitor with a laptop, I can connect the screen and charge at the same time, so the adapter cord is gone. Also, the speaker performance is so good that computer speakers are gone. The USB receiver of the wireless mouse keyboard can also be connected to the monitor, so the USB hub has disappeared. On the back of the monitor, peripherals such as a desktop can be connected. Desks are tidy and work efficiency has increased. Very satisfied. The thunderbolt monitor is amazing.

they advertise that this monitor has 2 usb-c ports, dp port, hdmi, and 2 usb slots for things like mouse and keyboard that can be a single input. sadly, the 2 usb slots for mouse/keyboard only works with usb-c connection, and although i have 2 computers that can have usb-c inputs, the chat support person tells me i can’t connect 2 separate computers into the 2 separate usb-c ports to display. if you built two separate slots, make them both work to display two separate computers!

I’ve used this monitor for about 3 years now, it has performed excellently. I did remove the stand and use a VESA arm desk mount, it is very easy to adjust. I have two devices connected, one via HDMI and one via DP, it detects both immediately and has no trouble switching from my PC to my laptop when needed. The one con I have is that the USB-C Thunderbolt is not very reliable when connecting it to my phone, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t. Not a big deal as I never use the Samsung DEX, but would be nice to have a reliable source of power.

Well I can truly say this monitor is amazing. I have used this mainly for work as I love having one screen that splits into two to display two large screens or split further into 4 quarter displays. I have also used it for gaming. The screen is colour rich and sharp. This makes watching videos a pleasure to watch and online gaming experience far better than on a large LED TV. The response time of the screen is also very impressive. The curved screen is great as you feel closer to the screen. The built-in speaks produce a high-quality sound. This reducing the need for additional speakers and frees up plug sockets. I have certainly enjoyed using this Samsung CJ79 curved monitor. This has drawn plenty of attention from my colleagues at work.
