1000r curve is perfect and really what put this monitor above all others (i was until this monitor one of those i hate curved monitors people). va panel, before this monitor, va was simply too slow response and latency (fps games) — whatever samsung has done, they have done it well. i’m using it with nvidia titan rtx and have zero flicker issues — though i put some time into setting both card/monitor up– nvidia control panel: ultra low latency, power setting to max performance, vsync off, threaded optimization on, no max frames – changed from default color to nvidia color settings, 10bit its freesync monitor also (it does not have the gsync board which causes flicker with some va panels). hdr600 does well — being a va panel its free from black-bleed / bright spots.

Only one complaint, it happens to me one time, when it goes to sleep mode it stayed in black screen, only resolution was to disconnect from outlet and connect it again, i read is a manufacturer problem, everything else is great.

This monitor has everything you would want in a gaming monitor. 1440p, 240mhz, GSync, 1ms response, and the curve is a nice bonus. Looks great whether you are watching shows or playing the newest title.

This monitor has served me well as a pc monitor for some time. Very fast for competitive titles and smooth for all other games. After ps5 has been updated to accept 1440p its been a dream to not have to upgrade just yet. Picture quality looks great once you have your settings dialed in.

colors are beautiful, contrast is beautiful, buuuutttt.. it flickers in most games with g sync on, vrr control fixes flicker, but introduces heavy micro stutter. is there any plan to resolve these issues?? 3 stars until it’s fixed, this is absolutely absurd that a monitor this expensive would have these issues

I will start by saying the screen looks amazing, really good picture quality and performance. Unfortunately there are some other issues one of which is just unbearable. The first issue the auto switch source feature does not work at all so when you turn on another input source it does not switch and when you turn off a source it does not switch back to the other one. This brings me to the second issue, the monitor will go into standby mode after 3 seconds when the is no source and you cannot turn this feature off or extend the time. This compounds the first issue by switching off the monitor when you shut down one source and want to switch to the other, unless you are poised and ready on the button to quickly switch sources. Not a big deal but a bit strange that a feature doesnt work on a high end monitor even though you can turn the feature on in the menu. These small issues aside my real problem has been the jog button itself, after only 3 months the job button would only move left making it impossible to switch source at all and you could not change any settings. I sent it away for testing and repair, after a couple of weeks they sent me an email saying the switchboard had been replaced and tested and all was well. I got the monitor back and it worked fine… for three weeks then the exact same fault occured again. Samsung take it away and repair it in one week this time, email says they replaced the switchboard again. I get the monitor back it works fine but only for one week this time before the exact same fault occured. I tried all their tips they talked me through each time but nothing worked so they said I had to send it of for the third time. That’s three times in five months for the same fault totalling one month without the monitor. I have pleaded with Samsung to give me a refund as I just dont want this trouble anymore but they refuse and won’t even give me a replacement saying that it is cheaper for them to replace a small part than to give me a new one.

I bought this monitor in December 2020, was unable to try and test its great promised features until late April. Then I found the ‘scanline’ effect issues. I sent it to them in May for the issue only happening on a small section of the screen. It came back even worse. This only happens on the 32″ G7 monitors and only on seemingly a certain percentage. You will be lucky if you don’t have the issue, and if you do have the issue, don’t expect it to be fixed.

so first of all, this could be a 5 star amazing monitor but they screwed up something amazing. the curve on this is so steep and the anti-glare film is so terrible that it turns this thing into complete garbage. basically it’s e-waste. is it smooth, yeah? no ghosting? check. headaches, migraines, eye strain? yep, has that too… you have to sit 3 inches from the monitor just to stop it from distorting, also, don’t bother trying to work on it either. i have curved monitors too, i like them actually but only with slight curves, this is so bad, do not buy this!

I use the G7 as my daily driver monitor. It has good colors, the refresh rate is top notch and has solid HDR support, especially for the money. It’s excellent for basic browsing and high end gaming alike. The curve is aggressive, but feels better than you’d think when taking it out of the box. GSync support was the selling point for me. My only complaint is with HDR, but is just as much of a complaint with Windows as it is with the Monitor, I’d just suggest turning it off unless you’re going to play a game or watch a movie.

I mostly use this monitor for gaming and HDR content. The 32 inch size along with the super high refresh rate in 1440P has truly changed the way I game. HDR also looks great after a few small tweaks to the settings to suit my viewing conditions. I’ve also convinced two of my friends to get this monitor after they saw it in person and were blown away by it!

this monitor is a perfect all rounder. as we all know pushing 4k at a decent fps requires a lot of horse power. this monitor being at 1440p and focusing on more important features you will experience day to day such as 240hz and hdr. i am very pleased with my purchase. the only issue i guess is the price as it is quite expensive.
Ernesto Toy (verified owner) –
I got it for mostly productivity (I don’t game) so it’s probably overkill but I love the contrast for documents/email and the curve makes it much better for me as I tend to sit a bit closer.

Got this over a year ago. Was my first time ever getting a gaming monitor and I must say this is a beast. The picture clarity is great. No screen tear during gaming or movies. Once you get used to the curve it works well for some games. Now many complained about dead pixels or what not. Yet I never had issues with mine even after I updated it. Either way a great product.

Monitor is great and is exactly what my son needed and wanted. I’m a Samsung diehard and love when their products live up to my expectations.

this is one of the best monitors ever. i am upgrading from a 35″ 75hz monitor. it is a bit smaller, but for the 240hz, hdr and 1440p, its so worth it.

This monitor is great for me. I use it for microsoft flight sim and love having the curved to see more around me. I only wish it was more hdr then it is right now. Also it works great with my xbox series x one other feature though I miss is hdmi arc. It has 2.0 which allows variable refresh rate and 120 at 1440p. Other than those to features it work perfect for my needs

I have my Xbox Series X connected to this amazing monitor, playing games like Destiny 2 in pvp matches running at 120 fps is just so beautiful. I definitely enjoy the scenery in Forza Horizon!! I just can’t imagine using another monitor for my gaming console

looking at the reviews at luanch i was not impressed with the quality issues that the g7 was havinging. so i waited and im so glad i did. have had zero issues no dead pixels and the monitor is absolutely amazing! just sucks the luanch was alittle rocky

Mostly used for gaming with some work from home action. Perfect for gaming because of the refresh rate, HDR is pretty ok on it. I also have an oled TV which of course has a better HDR picture, but it cost twice as much and isn’t as fast. The curve isn’t ideal for work but I love it in game.
Oda Stark (verified owner) –
This monitor is amazing for gaming as it has hdr at 1440p with 240hz refresh rate which is amazing at competitive games
