The Samsung CRG5 27″ 16:9 240 Hz Curved G-SYNC VA Gaming Monitor is packed with many helpful gaming features to provide users with a satisfying experience. These include things like NVIDIA G-SYNC compatibility, a fast 240 Hz refresh rate, and a 1500R curved screen that places you right in the middle of the action. Specs-wise, it’s built with a VA (Vertical Alignment) panel with a 1920 x 1080 Full HD resolution, a 3000:1 static contrast ratio, a 300 cd/m² brightness rating, and support for up to 16.7 million colors. Once it’s connected to your system via HDMI or DisplayPort, you can adjust its Picture Mode for an optimized viewing experience with your preferred game genre. Additionally, there is a USB port for upgrading the monitor’s software.

False advertising, this monitor is not suitable for gaming and 144 Hz refresh rate will not help. Low price, poor image quality, issues with DP connection, no DP cable.

these are good monitors and i like the different display features that it has for gaming. one thing i wish i could do is update the firmware. i bought two a few months a part and they have different firmware. the screen color and brightness don’t match up so it’s annoying when working off two screens. other than that i like them. i would recommend if you’re buying two, buy them at the same time so they’re the same.

this is an amazing gaming monitor and more. has presets to match the type of game you’re playing, the movie you’re watching, or stream you’re broadcasting. i’m so glad i purchased this monitor and will recommend it for sure.

when this was opened up out of the box it worked fine, then a few hours later a single line came down across the screen. i was able to send it back and they didn’t charge me for it which is nice. i get it back and it is working great for a week or so, then i hit the printscreen key on my keyboard and that line is there in the same exact spot. i checked my cables, even took a screenshot and it wasn’t there in the screenshot. this was a huge disappointment for me, especially since it took 2 weeks for the monitor to come back. i can;t recommend this to anyone knowing that they might experience the same issue, either by random chance or one wrong key press.

what an amazing display, i just looks so nice when i set it up and connected it to my pc. also the refresh rate was amazing, i have only ever had a 60hz refresh rate, but this looks amazing.

It’s a great image and perfect size! 23.5 curved is perfect for my main monitor paired with another curved mounted monitor. I picked mine up during the Christmas sale and super happy I did. It’s a great gaming monitor and editing monitor.

I have two of these for gaming and work, good screen quality and 144hz is nice. Can plug multiple things into one monitor so it makes using multiple devices easy. Only thing I would complain about is the glossy plastic design it grabs fingerprints so easily.

i have to say this is a amazing moniter. but lasted me a year. only thing though that its very breakable. just by dropping it by 2 inches you reveive a crack. performance wise good. quality wise bad.

It’s not. The monitor is fantastic works with Nvidia gsync.. that’s 2 and freesync Samsung’s that have worked fine so far… the VA panel gives a balance of pixel speed to color accuracy much better then most TN panels(typical for 144hz) and has a osd crosshair…

granted, this isn’t a ultra gaming monitor, so it doesn’t have amazing specs, but it’s a great value for it’s price. 144 hrz made a big difference. my only complaint is that the stand is kind of oddly shaped, so it has a hard time sitting flush with my desk. all the weight seems to sit at the front of the stand, so i’m confused why it goes back like 5 inches. would also be nice if there was some sort of mounting hookup.

i had this monitor for just over a year before i started to notice a visual glitch. this would occur every time i turned on my computer. i have not dropped or damaged the monitor in any way and i use it almost every day. despite getting a new cable and even a new pc, i still had the same problem. i think the performance of the monitor is fine but unfortunately the durability was very lackluster and i simply can not recommend this monitor to anyone who plans to frequently use it.

I use this monitor for both work and watching movies. The screen has no lag and is very smooth. The curvature gives it a better surface area. The video clarity and is very good as is the screen refresh rate. The only drawbacks I found are it doest swivel and has no USB c port.
