With the Samsung LS27AM500NNXZA 27″ 16:9 Smart FHD HDR VA Monitor, you have the power to be productive and entertained at a distance without having to connect a computer. Like a smart TV, this 1920 x 1080 Full HD resolution monitor has built-in speakers and can independently run apps such as Microsoft Office 365 in addition to Netflix, YouTube, and other streaming entertainment services. This allows you to quickly switch from being productive to watching immersive entertainment at a distance using the included remote control. Use the Wireless DeX utility to stream apps and content such as photos and videos from your phone to the monitor without having to connect additional cables or turn on the computer. The LS27AM500NNXZA has built-in Bluetooth for connecting wireless peripherals such as keyboards, mice, and more. With its integrated sensors, the screen automatically adjusts its brightness to match the ambient light. Switching the screen to Ultrawide Game View mode allows you to see more detail in supported games using a 21:9 aspect ratio.

This monitor has been great for every day use. I love that it helps me get various tasks done and also works for play. After I’m done with work I can use it to watch a movie, watch videos and listen to music. It is an all around winner. No other monitor has the flexibility of this one.

wireless display connection to my laptop is awful. slow and laggy so a bit of a gimmick. also if using wireless, resizing windows is near impossible as it uses a different cursor to when using a wired connection. getting set up was painful, it wouldn’t recognize my samsung account then a day later it wouldn’t recognize any wi-fi connections. connecting using a displayport / hdmi cable is good. it’s all good for the price but being samsung, i expected better. from the description, it seems samsung have put a lot of work in to support apple users (which i am not), i’d prefer they focused on their loyal samsung customers a little more.

the Samsung 32 inch monitor is used for my photography , nice big screen makes it easier to enlarge the pictures and work on 2 pictures at the same time . very sharp picture , clear, good color

I was a bit Leary after reading other reviews but I love my monitor. I have it hooked up to my Mac, which did take a few tries but once connected no issues. I will sadly admit it did fall off my table, approximately 36″, and I did crack the bottom of the frame but it did NOT affect the quality of the screen at all. I was scared I messed it up. Recently I got rid of my big tv and used this temporarily as a mart tv. That was nice. It’s not really meant to be used as a smart tv alone though because with the remote you can’t adjust the volume, that was the only downfall of using it as a tv. I got this because it gave me the option to use it as a smart tv but most importantly as a second monitor working at home during COVID. I am extremely satisfied, especially since I didn’t mess it up after it dropped. My heart sank as I thought it was going to be a goner, but it was not. Very durable, don’t drop it on purpose though. Versatile like it says, except for volume as a tv. Definitely recommend if you want to be able to use it when going back to work. I plan on using it as a smart tv in my bedroom once I return to work.

This monitor is amazing. I have all the streaming apps needed, including xfinity stream beta, to fulfill all my TV needs. You don’t even need a pc tower to enjoy the internet. I’ve had this monitor for a few months now and in that time, I haven’t turned my TV on once.

Unboxing of the M5 32″ FHD Smart monitor and assembly were very easy and straight forward. The monitor is a near edge-to-edge screen with a very nice viewing angle. I have a Microsoft Surface Laptop 3, and getting it to display to the monitor using the Surface Dock takes a little bit of patience to learn the sequence of what needs turned on first and how long to wait before turning on the second item. The clarity of the screen as a monitor is very average. The large size of the screen makes it marginally better, but it is still very grainy and fuzzy no matter what resolution is picked. The physical footprint of the monitor is on par with other monitors and the ability to tilt the monitor is nice, but it is missing the ability to raise the height to truly help with ergonomics. The included remote is nice, as are the included smart apps for streaming video. If you do not have a TV in your office, this is a great solution to access your streaming services if you do not want to use your computer. Although, since this is a computer monitor, the chance of me being at my desk and not using my computer is not great, but it is there as an option.

i am impressed at how easy it was to set up right out of the box. just hook up the power and the hdmi cord straight to my computer. i like that it has streaming capabilities and wireless set up, as well as the remote. i also like that i can connect to smart things and control from phone. room for improvement: adjustable stand. i find it odd that it doesn’t have an adjustable stand. not a deal breaker but definitely a perk if they had included the feature.

i bought this monitor to use along side my galaxy tab s7 to utilize samsung dex and get the desktop experience. for over a month now i have tried to get that experience to no avail. i have followed you tube video instructions, samsung instructions, miscellaneous instructions and i cannot get that experience. all i can get is screen mirroring. i am not getting what i see advertised. this is the 2nd samsung device which does not do what it says it will do. another expensive item to be moved to the garage for non usage. i am pretty close to giving up on samsung….

Overall a good monitor. Acts almost more like a small TV than a monitor since it has smart features. Has decent speakers too. I would recommend this as a work monitor and not for gaming.

i don’t have any major complaints about this tv. it has a good image quality, and i really like that it has a matt screen to reduce glare. i also like that it has a single pedestal stand instead of two feet solution that most tv’s have. the speaker volume is adequate but not much more than that. and the screen brightness is also adequate, but not much more than that. to get the maximum brightness you have to go into the settings to turn the brightness to the maximum setting, and to also go to the eco solutions menu to turn off ambient light detection.

the monitor does not come with the proper screws to hold the monitor on the base. now i have find the right size, the screws in the pkg are too loose and dont hold the monitor in place.
