With the Samsung LS32AM500NNXZA 31.5″ 16:9 Smart FHD HDR VA Monitor, you have the power to be productive and entertained at a distance without having to connect a computer. Like a smart TV, this 1920 x 1080 Full HD resolution monitor has built-in speakers and can independently run apps such as Microsoft Office 365 in addition to Netflix, YouTube, and other streaming entertainment services. This allows you to quickly switch from being productive to watching immersive entertainment at a distance using the included remote control. Use the Wireless DeX utility to stream apps and content such as photos and videos from your phone to the monitor without having to connect additional cables or turn on the computer. The LS32AM500NNXZA has built-in Bluetooth for connecting wireless peripherals such as keyboards, mice, and more. With its integrated sensors, the screen automatically adjusts its brightness to match the ambient light. Switching the screen to Ultrawide Game View mode allows you to see more detail in supported games using a 21:9 aspect ratio.

wireless display connection to my laptop is awful. slow and laggy so a bit of a gimmick. also if using wireless, resizing windows is near impossible as it uses a different cursor to when using a wired connection. getting set up was painful, it wouldn’t recognize my samsung account then a day later it wouldn’t recognize any wi-fi connections. connecting using a displayport / hdmi cable is good. it’s all good for the price but being samsung, i expected better. from the description, it seems samsung have put a lot of work in to support apple users (which i am not), i’d prefer they focused on their loyal samsung customers a little more.

i ordered this screen and it is working perfectly except there is a light leak from the edges of the screen. seems like the screen is not placed right and after some time the dust will enter the screen.

The Samsung Monitor is truly exceptional. I have a monitor that’s about 2 years old, and it’s really interesting to see the improvement is quality, brightness and technology on how thus monitor the way other monitors have to be. This should be the new standard. Firstly, the most liked feature for me was the “Auto Source”, I say this because I often have a desktop that I just remote into at most times, and a latop/docking station connected to the same display. And in the past, it was always, plug-in, click on settings, then recall which HDMI port was in use and activate the port. It was very cumbersome, and I had thought about a KVM, but it didn’t make sense to buy a KVM for a 2 machine set-up. The USB-C connectitivty is also really good, as I was able to use my Toshiba Thunderbolt laptop to connect to display with a cable and at another time, I used the same monitor to charge my cell-phone. That’s the advantage of USB-C, you can transmit power in either direction, as opposed to USB-A, where it always travels to the other-port ( micro a micro USB or a UB-B printer port)

This monitor setup was easy and straightforward the height was average and would be better if it were adjustable (especially when using the embedded office suite). I appreciate the size and clean lines and it fit well into my existing multi monitor setup. I have tried a few of the streaming apps (need to already have an account) and found it to be very quick and responsive for watching a movie. the main function of a computer monitor is OK but could do with a higher resolution and sharper picture here but I could just see if its a tweaking of settings issue.The embedded office suite is nice but a little slow and prefer to run locally on my PC. The “tap phone to back of monitor” for seeing phone video or listening to music is nice but also a little slow connecting and could just be my network. I use Smartthings in my home and monitor pair well but was sluggish in response, again could be my network. I need to run the monitor through some more tests to get a better feel for it. Overall great addition to my Samsung family.

Great idea! Good execution! Perfect delivery! Once you get the hand of using the features — it is everything it advertises. And OMG what great resolution even when using smart view from the Tab6. Really good from phone. And, wow what a difference using this for drafting and document comparison and layouts. Could you put a handle to make carrying easier and did I mention why not touch screen! Why isn’t it a touch screen!!??

The Samsung 32″ M5 series TV and monitor is a great buy. The image quality is great and it also comes with built-in speakers and voice assisted remote. It has also Samsung Dex wireless and Apple airplay2 which makes it easier to connect to my cell phone. The picture and the sound quality is excellent. I was able to connect all my devices using wifi , Bluetooth, USB and HDMI. Also all the smart apps work very well and I had no problem opening them. I use this primarily for watching shows. It has an inbuilt office 365 site which makes it easy for me to view and edit documents and save them to cloud. All in all very happy with this product.

I got this 32″ M5 FHD Smart Monitor with Streaming TV at the perfect time. I am starting a podcast and web series and this monitor, paired with my new Macbook Pro, proved to be a great combination to take my content to the next level. The 32″ size is great and makes editing so much easier due to having such a large screen to work with. The 4K content looks amazing and makes the task of editing and watching playback super enjoyable and less tedious. I think the ability to use this as a TV or monitor is brilliant and it is nice to take breaks here and there and watch Netflix, Hulu, etc on the 4K screen. The setup was super easy with the HDMI cables and everything was pretty easy to understand and follow. I wish there were more details included on all the smart features though. Using my Samsung phone to mirror and operate is a wonderful feature and makes things really easy. I have not used Office 365 much but it seems like a great feature, as well. Overall, the size, 4K content, streaming functionality and ease of use makes this a really great addition to my home office and I am definitely happy with it so far and would recommend to anyone as I feel it would benefit everyone from gamers to home office personnel, to content creators and everyday users.

The Samsung monitor was so light to place inside after delivery. We installed it to use as an extra tv monitor in the garage, yet it’s so much more. I can also use it to stream you tube for projects while working outside & can search the internet also. I’m not much of a gamer but I see how others could benefit from the crystal clear screen. All in all a great product & would recommend to others.
