With the Samsung LS32AM500NNXZA 31.5″ 16:9 Smart FHD HDR VA Monitor, you have the power to be productive and entertained at a distance without having to connect a computer. Like a smart TV, this 1920 x 1080 Full HD resolution monitor has built-in speakers and can independently run apps such as Microsoft Office 365 in addition to Netflix, YouTube, and other streaming entertainment services. This allows you to quickly switch from being productive to watching immersive entertainment at a distance using the included remote control. Use the Wireless DeX utility to stream apps and content such as photos and videos from your phone to the monitor without having to connect additional cables or turn on the computer. The LS32AM500NNXZA has built-in Bluetooth for connecting wireless peripherals such as keyboards, mice, and more. With its integrated sensors, the screen automatically adjusts its brightness to match the ambient light. Switching the screen to Ultrawide Game View mode allows you to see more detail in supported games using a 21:9 aspect ratio.

This monitor is amazing! It not only has a big screen which makes it great for work (specially if you spend your days on a spreadsheet, as I do) but also connects independently with anything. The image is crystal clear, great resolution, great picture quality and sharpness with vibrant colors. The best part? i bought this monitor to use along side my galaxy tab s7 to utilize samsung dex and get the desktop experience. for over a month now i have tried to get that experience to no avail. i have followed you tube video instructions, samsung instructions, miscellaneous instructions and i cannot get that experience. all i can get is screen mirroring. i am not getting what i see advertised. this is the 2nd samsung device which does not do what it says it will do. another expensive item to be moved to the garage for non usage. i am pretty close to giving up on samsung….

Unboxing of the M5 32″ FHD Smart monitor and assembly were very easy and straight forward. The monitor is a near edge-to-edge screen with a very nice viewing angle. I have a Microsoft Surface Laptop 3, and getting it to display to the monitor using the Surface Dock takes a little bit of patience to learn the sequence of what needs turned on first and how long to wait before turning on the second item. The clarity of the screen as a monitor is very average. The large size of the screen makes it marginally better, but it is still very grainy and fuzzy no matter what resolution is picked. The physical footprint of the monitor is on par with other monitors and the ability to tilt the monitor is nice, but it is missing the ability to raise the height to truly help with ergonomics. The included remote is nice, as are the included smart apps for streaming video. If you do not have a TV in your office, this is a great solution to access your streaming services if you do not want to use your computer. Although, since this is a computer monitor, the chance of me being at my desk and not using my computer is not great, but it is there as an option.

So my husband has been in IT for many years now. Starting as “help desk” in the Navy, however, he has been on the security side for many years now. I point this out, because it was so easy to install, he could do it! Why is this a big deal, because most IT should be able to handle setting up these things, but really that’s not true! I’ve always set up most of our home electronics with the exception of a few, to Which he had a friend help him! This monitor surprised us both, after he figured out, with me pointing, where to put the pieces for placing it on his desk stand, he had it up fairly quickly. We weren’t sure how well it would fit as he has his desk up in the corner, but it worked out just perfect! Once it was hooked up he turned it on, and what happened? Yes, the magic happened. It auto detected the settings and he was running dual screens with his laptop. Over all we have to say 5 stars just simply put it is the easiest monitor to set up. The quality is great for us and pretty clear as far as how big the browser opens up on it. He’s using it for work and that second screen is really helpful for his “multitasking”. It has airplay, and connects pretty easily To it as our son has several times tried to connect to it randomly, when he was trying to connect to the tv in the living room and chose his monitor instead. So the distance it picks up is more than one should technically need for that.

I’m so glad I got this monitor. I was working from home with 2 smaller monitors that I had to lug back and forth to work until I got this. This monitor is bigger than I realized and has way more functions then I could imagine. What’s nice is this can be set aside in my guest room and used as a tv when I’m not working. I don’t think I have explored all the features this monitor has but what I have messed around with is great. I was able to Bluetooth my laptop and my iPad to the monitor easily this is great since I am not tech savvy. The colors are vibrant, nothing is pixilated and the sound is excellent for a monitor. I purchased this to help me work from home easier but with all the great features I’m using it for more personal reasons and as a spare tv. I am very satisfied with my purchase and highly recommend it to others.

My favorite thing about this monitor is the ease of set up. I am in IT and this is the monitor I want everyone to get! It’s easy as plug and play on setting up. Great frame rate and resolution. I’m using this for another monitor for work use at home. It meets all of my work needs. The airplay works well and from a distance, as my son accidentally tries to connect to my monitor when he’s trying to connect to the living room tv. This monitor is great for So many things. I’ve been able to watch tv on my downtime in my office, which is rare but sometimes needed. My favorite would be the samsung plus tv service. We use a lot of streaming services like Netflix you tube, Hulu etc. The cables that come with it work fine for this. I have it placed on a desk stand so I have not placed it on the actual stand. The remote works well, however I haven’t had a need to use the voice control as it’s kind of unnecessary for my use.
