With the Samsung LS32AM702UNXZA 31.5″ 16:9 Smart 4K HDR VA Monitor, you have the power to be productive and entertained without having to connect a computer. Like a smart TV, this 3840 x 2160 4K UHD resolution monitor has built-in speakers and can independently run apps such as Microsoft Office 365 in addition to Netflix, YouTube, and other streaming entertainment services. This allows you to quickly switch from being productive to watching immersive entertainment at a distance using the included remote control. Use the Wireless DeX utility to stream apps and content such as photos and videos from your phone to the monitor without having to connect additional cables or turn on the computer. You can connect a compatible laptop to the monitor through the USB Type-C connection, which supports power delivery and DisplayPort over USB-C, so you can transfer video, audio, and data through a single cable. The LS32AM702UNXZA also has built-in Bluetooth for connecting wireless peripherals such as keyboards, mice, and more. With its integrated sensors, the screen automatically adjusts its brightness to match the ambient light. Switching the screen to Ultrawide Game View mode allows you to see more detail in supported games using a 21:9 aspect ratio.

it provides a better quality picture than my 9-year old dell 32″ ultra-sharp (that recently died). it is easier to connect to other computers than the dell was. i don’t like that it can be setup as a tv. i have had occasional trouble getting it to just work as a monitor. (i asked my son to set it up and he did the tv first unfortunately.)

look no furhter than https://us.community.samsung.com/t5/monitors-and-memory/smart-monitor-m7-issues/m-p/1604871#m6349. i’ve been in search of a 4k monitor months and the m7 had features that no other manufacture offers. basically a smart tv that functions as a traditional computer monitor, the perfect complement for my desk setup. while i wouldn’t recommend this product, i can’t find a 4k monitor or tv with similar features; therefore, i’m willing to give it one more change. samsung has provided a refund but i’m seriously hoping the fact the m7 is out of stock means that samsung is addressing the quality issues impacting this product.

I’ve had a few monitors in my office/studio, but this one is my absolute favorite!! I primarily use this to hide in my studio and binge my favorite shows on Brit Box. 🙂 Of course, I also use it for work. I edit audio and video files for broadcast, so everything needs to be precise and easy on the eyes. I’ve gone through several monitors that were inferior in one way or another, so when I found my Samsung, I was so relieved. The colors are true. The resolution is exactly what I need. And it even has decent speakers in it. (However, I rarely use them as the audio is sent to my editing PC via a flawless Bluetooth signal.) It was very reasonably priced. My Samsung is one of my favorite purchases.

M7 32″ UHD Smart monitor is certainly a very good smart monitor, currently available in the market. The 4k contents looks really awesome. All the features mentioned on the Samsung website , for this monitor, does work and hence makes this a really good smart monitor. Talking about positives of the monitor, The size of monitor really good for a TV in small room, for gaming, graphics work, charts and even for hardcore software engineering. The display fires up instantly when turned on. It offers various modes to keep your eye comfortable and not feel the stress for working long hours in front of the monitor. On connecting to wifi I could access Office 360 and edit my document which is awesome and really makes it a thin client and don’t need a Chromebook. Was able to connect a keyboard and mouse as usb devices and I could use it across (control)the other sources connected to USBC, HDMI devices which make it a really handy switch and don’t need any more switches on the table . Airplay too works really great, and with a Samsung phone was able to mirror the device with a tap. Sound quality is pretty decent too for watching a movie on in built Netflix or Amazon Video App. Talking about the negatives, unfortunately, the build quality of the monitor is not to the Samsung standard. Brand new, out of the box monitor has gap between its frame and screen at the bottom edge, its very unSamsung like build. Couple of other miss for me are ,this is not an IPS panel, 4k is great but miss on IPS, is I think a big miss for the smart monitor of next generation. Other feature I would have expected and is missing, would be Picture-in-Picture. With Such a big monitor with ability to connect multiple sources, PIP feature would have been really useful. I would certainly recommend someone looking to buy a new monitor to consider this monitor.

it wouldn’t turn on; then it came on; let me set it up. then it crashed and would not come back on. i returned the screen for a full refund the same day i set it up. sad, i wanted this to work with my s20 note ultra 5g with dex to replace my computer. i am demoralized. the reality did not live up to the rhetoric.

I preferably use my monitor for watching movies, PPV’s, work, and school. Work and school more importantly. The overall is experience is great but the monitor does lag and glitch in certain areas where I would like it to improve on. I’ll mention it from the area I’ve been troubled with the most to the area where I beleive connections seem to be the problem. (1)Microsoft (MS) Word does a lot of glitching when I type. I am not sure if this is the case with other MS applications but I’ve been working around it with my other devices. Due note that I use a Bluetooth (BT) keyboard but the issue does to be the same on other devices) (2)There is a bad & noticeable lag at the start up when opening and operating the menus in moving through applications or settings etc. This lag slowly fades away as the moniter adjust. (3)My BT mouse appears on the list of BT connection for the monitor but does not pair. My 3 keyboards don’t seem to have this problem (nor do my other devices when connected vai BT) as they connect with no issue. There is also a small lag with the BT mouse through DEX. I am not very concern about it as the finger pad DEX uses through devices has no latency. (4)Websites are very small & hard to work with when connected on DEX. My tab doesn’t have this issue. In general I really enjoyed the monitor as it provides me with the entertainment I need & more. All the functions I need for productivity are there & can be even greater if these technicalities weren’t yielding.

The samsung m7 smart monitor has a great picture. The black levels allow a very noticeable true black. It was very easy to setup and I had it working in minutes. The monitor comes with a power cable and a HDMI cable capable of doing 4k resolution. The refresh rate allows a smooth picture when being used as a computer monitor. It is nice to have the Samsung smart apps built in to allow streaming of media when it’s not being used for work. One really nice bonus was the USBC PD output for a device. I didn’t have a chance to try it but it could power a nintendo switch so you don’t need another outlet. My only disappointment was the single HDMI input. Most graphics cards don’t have an HDMI out. It was a pain to find an unidirectional displayport to HDMI that will do 4k at 60hz. For a monitor labeled as “Smart Monitor” I would have liked to see at least a displayport input.

I have a major problem with that monitor. My tv remote starts both my tv and my monitor ! If I want to change some setup on the tv it screws the monitor settings and vice versa. There are no workaround for that ! Come on Samsung !

We use the monitor for streaming TV and gaming on the Xbox series s, playstation 4, and Playstation 2. As far as streaming the only issues come from the internet. Amd with gaming there is very high resolution.
