I read a few reviews about this problem and this has happened to me only once. It was being heavily used while editing in both photoshop and lightroom and I am not sure if this caused it. I had no problem loading a large number of photos onto the disk. For editing I am pulling the photos onto my hard drive then transferring them back to the ssd after editing and haven’t had a problem since. The disk is lightweight, sturdy. The cord is horribly short (how much would it have cost them to add and extra four inches of cord). So 4 stars.

I brought this for my PS5 to expand my capacity of my system.

Bought this to store my old iTunes Library and files from older machines and new ones after getting a new M1 MacBook Air. Works exactly as intended and only reason I’m not more impressed is because I’ve used T5’s before and they’ve been great. Mainly for storing audio files and documents. As long as you format it properly and don’t install the included software, you can use it for anything really. Amazing the value of external SSD’s these days

This is my favorite line of SDD, hands down. Looks great, super small, nice build quality and very fast. Can’t stop buying more!

This is my third T7 SSD drive and I love them so much. I use one for my PS4 pro, one for my PS5, & one for my Intel Nuc10i7FNH. I would absolutely buy 3 more given the opportunity.

I bought this SSD along with a Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra. The setup was straight forward and I am now transferring files from my old laptop to my tablet at very fast speeds. Great product Samsung!!!

I’m using this drive as the main location for Logic Pro X library and project files on a MacBook Pro 16. Formatted as APFS, it’s working well under Big Sur 11.6.4 The drive is impressively small and sleek, mounts and dismounts quickly and the data transfer is fast. I intend to get another for backups: Superduper and Time Machine.

This external solid state drive is extremely fast. It works out of the box, and I’m very pleased with how small and non-cumbersome it is. I highly recommend this HD for professional work or at home.

Loads PS4 games as fast as my internal drive and frees up the space I need to install PS5 games. Had to buy a protective case for it but no complaints thus far and no errors when playing games.

This SSD is fast, relatable and works perfectly with my Mac.

When stationary, our T7 is connected to a USB-C port of our PC, and it delivers an excellent data throughput at all times. And this drive is so light and portable that it fits any shirt or pant pocket when we are on the go. As long as you can find the room for the cable, a drive cannot be much more portable than this. Be sure to download the Samsung Magician software, by the way, when using this or any Samsung SSD.

The Samsung 1TB SSD will be use as addition to my back up and download of photos process. Very fast during writing. I cannot say anything wrong about this SSD because I still have not found it. Very satisfy with my purchase.

This is just what I was looking for for a portable drive to store images on when I travel. Looks to be just what I expected from Samsung.

This is a great drive for the money, but it can’t sustain listed speeds. Using it as a scratch drive for graphics programs. It eventually gets bogged down.
